I'm doing a high protein low carb diet that a friend gave me. I'd a good day today even though I was out for dinner. Resisted dessert & had a low fat starter so quite happy with myself.

It's gym time tomorrow and as work is mental I'll go before work so I don't have an excuse when I'm wrecked tomorrow evening!

I've a hen in 11 days so would love to be down about 3 lbs for that.

Hi all TTC weight loss buddies,

I have been reading your posts and though this might interest you.

We are new suppliers here - I am Eileen and my business partner & I have a business called Dietcare, which has been operating in the UK from 1976 and has recently come to Ireland. It was included in the British Medicine Guide in 1978, and has received many endorsements and referrals from the medical profession. The Dietcare plan is based on healthy eating – real food with no supplements, gimmicks, tablets or shakes. It produces good and consistent weight losses for all slimmers who follow the plan correctly.

Dietcare, working with the medical profession, has researched PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and has developed unique healthy eating diets, which are very effective, not only in helping patients to lose weight, but in reducing many of the very unpleasant PCOS symptoms and overcome fertility problems.

Our PCOS one-to-one course is recommended by many medical professionals to their patients. Dietcare has helped 300 PCOS patients with fertility issues, not only to lose weight, but to conceive and give birth to healthy babies, saving at lot of money and stress on fertility treatments.
(When I went to England for my training I was so emotional when I saw a photograph album they had of all these babies who were concieve after the mums were on the Dietcare PCOS diet)

There is a lot of information on how we can help with the symptoms of PCOS on our website
http://pcos.dietcare-belfasteastandnorthdown.com/pcos/index.php

We offer 1-2-1 clinics as well as online and by post. To celebrate our new membership on WOL we can complete a free metabolic rate questionnaire with you, no obligation . We are also offering free registration when you book a course with us – worth £29.95.
We also provide a specialised online PCOS support group.

Please do not hesitate to email or ring for more information or guidance - again no obligation, we would like to help :)

It's so hard girls, isn't it? I'm a bit overweight also and try for a while hell-for-leather and then give up for a while again. I find it so draining to always be switched on and never having a blowout! Oh well I'm not hugely over weight but have a bit of a belly and a fair pair of thighs on me that I'd love to shift! ah at least OH loves me as I am!! :o0 At the moment I'm just trying to say no to chocolate as it's cropping up everywhere right now!!

Hi Girls,

Does anyone know if the CLA Booster food supplement which is recommended for weight loss could adveresly effect conception or absorption of other supplements such as folic acid?

Just bought some of these to start a new weight loss/detox regime, but i really hope it won't prevent me from getting a BFP.

Any advice would be grately appreciated :xxx

Well I've gotten my AF after months of nothing. I'm putting it down to the weightloss, exercise and generally feeling better. Here's hoping things can get back on track for good and the weight keeps coming off.

hi girls do you mind if i join you on this ttc no 2 for the last 9 months, we had a mc in march. I have a good bit of weight to lose (started with 5 and half stone to lose). I started with the motivation weightloss clinic at the start of april and have lost a stone and a half so far it is a great programe and if i get pregnant while on it i can change over to the pregnancy programe. I have done all the diets that you can think of from weightwatchers to food supplement diets.
My doctor told me about motivation and since i joined i have been sleeping better and doing a lot more excercise too.
You dont take or eat anything different just normal food and they give great support they have a website motivationweightmanagement and have clinics all over ireland. i still have 4 stone to lose but will stick to it and i can even still have my bar of chocolate if i want it. hoping that june will be our month this will be cycle 3 since mc. :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: to everyone.

Hi Girls

I'm joining this too as I want to get the ball rolling on TTC #1. We're not actually planning to get started until June next year, but I would love to lose a stone (post wedding and holiday weight) and maintain my weight at that level before we start. I am planning to come off the pill in early November (been on ovranette for the last 12yrs without a break) so I'm trying to take into account that it could take 6 (or more!!) months for my cycle to get back to normal.

My way of thinking is that if I lose the weight by November, even if I put some weight back on after coming off the pill, it shouldn't seem so dramatic. That's the plan anyway. I'm aiming to lose 2-3lbs this week (water weight, but hey - it all adds up) and then an average of 1lb a week until the end of Nov. Will it work? Probably not, but it's good to have a plan ;o)
