Hi there yes mar09 that has entered my head that I may not have ovulated at all, which is scary but its something ill have to deal with. I was onto doctor and am going in for three day bloods when ever this AF arrives, i do think the chemical has thrown it off completely but I hope to God Im ovulating, really do. the home opks and cbfm are linking up alright but that only means my body is gearing up to ovulate. so fingers crossed,
thanks for reply

feel relived and luckliy dont have to wait too long as appt on 19th april. mar09 hopefully will be joining you on clomid thread soon and you seem to have some success with this and mrspositive have you been tested for POS?

TTCing is such a long road but seems longer when you have these horribly long cycles O:|

Hi there, good to hear you are getting places with your results thats great - to be moving forward you feel so good.

Im on CD 39 now and no AF yet. So either I didnt ovulate or ovulated late as I was very sick for two days around the time I got my peak on the monitor so it could have delayed ovulation.

I havent been tested for anything yet but as soon as this AF arrives I'll be going to the doctor for 3 day bloods.

19th of April will fly by especially as Easter will keep your mind off things xx

Just wanted to wish all you girls with long cycles the very best of luck.

TTCing is hard enough with normal cycles but for girls like us (I had 45+ day cycles!!) it's that bit tougher. I was on this thread at the beginning but as you can see from my tickers things have worked out and will work out for all of you. It just takes that little bit extra of patience.

DS was conceived with a little help from my thermometer. Temping was great to get things back in my control and I actually became less obsessive when temping as I knew what was happening. Only temping for two cycles when got the BFP.

Our little girl due next month was a happy surprise so no temping needed.

One golden rule - keep DTD. That's what does it in the end. :yelrotflmaosmilie:

hi ladies- just posted seperatly and wanted to do here as well as i was on here a lot with my very long cycles...and newly diagnosed POS.
after 13 mths of TTC -just tested on cb digital and am approx 3+ weeks pregnant! havnt tested before now as i dont know when i ovulate really and have been late before - only reason I did today is we are due to have our first appt with fertility clinic tomorrow- and thought i had better rule it out and so really wasnt expecting to see a line on 1st test then rushed out to get a digital and couldnt believe my eyes when i seen 3+. hubby just made me do another and same result - we were so scared to get our hopes up having been there before...so here i am looking at 3 positive tests in disbelief but so so delighted i could burst!!! i really feel for all you long cyclers having had cycles from 52 - 40 days for past year so best of luck and babydust to you all :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust:

Hi girls,

Can I join in? CD 53 for me and I'm going nuts!!! I don't know where I am in my cycle, whether I'm ovulating or not. It's very very frustrating :o(

I've ordered lots of cheapy OPKs and a thermometer so hopefully that will give me more infor about my cycle.

hey madam, we meet again, have you asked for provera to bring your AF on, so that you can start clomid for ovulation? I went in well prepared to my doctor and didnt ask what she thought I just said I wanted Provera and Clomid! Think she was surprised by how much I knew about the whole thing. The one thing about clomid is that it will regulate us to 28 day period hopefully so thats an achievement in itself! xx

Hi Madam, yes it is SOOO frustrating to have long cycles.... I'm on my 3rd cycle since 1st of January this year............ I mean I should really be on my 5th O:| O:| O:| Its very very annoying !!!!!
I'm waiting for an appointment for fertility clinic in TRalee. The doc there is on hols until June 11th, and she will decide when she comes back whether we need to go see the nurses, or herself.
If we need to see the nurses, we will get an appointment pretty quickley after than, but if we need to see the doctor herself, then it will be july before we get an appointment............... But sure what can you do !!!!
In the meantime, we are dtd as much as possible and I'm using cbfm.... only getting highs (no peak) - but then it probably misses the peak when I'm ovulating so late (I'm I'm ovulating at all).

Hang in there hon, it can be very frustrating, but talk to your GP/ consultant about someting to help with the long cycles. These boards are great :)

Hi mrs positive (again) :o0 , it seems that we have a similar situation. I haven't spoken to my doc at all. I reckon that my cycle is just a bit fecked up from being on the pill. I have decided to try temping and opking for the next month and if there's nothing by this time next month I will go to the doc. Although I know she will say it can take 12 months for the pill to totally leave the system. I'm not sure she will do anything as we have only been trying for a couple of months.

Mymission- great that you are seeing the nurse/doctor. I'm not long at this TtC business but I'm finding it hard going so far mainly because I don't know where I stand in my cycle. I know I just have to give it some time but I just want to be pregnant!

Thanks a mill for replying girls xxx :babydust: :babydust:

Hi my mission I hope you won't be waiting long in Tralee for an appointment

My doc said if nothing happens after 5 months she would get things investigated mrs bijou. You can decide to get checked out how long are you trying? Xx I was using cheap opks which are handy but even though I was getting peaks on the cbfm it indicates an LH surge but not always ovulation. It clearly works though my first month using it I got pregnant but it ended in a chemical pregnancy. This month got all highs and my scan showed I did nt ovulate so I think it's a great indicator. I could nt temp it would drive me crackers analysing xx
