Blackpearl - Highs just mean you are getting close to ovulation (hopefully), Peak, is when you're ovulating. I've heard such great things about them. I got mine in Boots, SUPER expensive, €150 and then i think it was about €30 for the sticks. Think you can get it cheaper online, only reason i went to Boots is because i decided to get it when i got AF and you have to turn it on in within the first 6 days of cycle so i didn't have time to order online.

awww Newbie sorry to hear about your loss in feb - really hope this is your month.
Know what you mean about all the time we spent trying not to get pregnant and now we're obsessing about it!! I was on the pill for 10 years and never missed a day, just in case!!!

I got my first Peak on CBFM today, SO EXCITED!!! Delighted that it works!!! So poor OH is going to have to find some energy from somewhere tonight!! He said he feels used (i think he likes it though). Although won't tell him how important tonight is, too much pressure.

Hi girls

Well I started testing this morning and i got a BFP!!!!! :o)ll

i am surprised and not surprised but now definitely worried about the drinking the other night. Do any of you know when the placenta starts functioning??? Is it possible I did damage at all??? how do I forget all these things from my last two pregnancies?!

I feel so so so lucky today. I cant believe it. please God this will be a healthy pregnancy.

Woke up at 4.45am this morning needing the toilet, so got my HPT and did it then.... needless to say I got a BFN, feel stupid getting so disheartened when we've been trying for such a short time... but I still feel a bit sad. We're going to a wedding on Friday and I said I'd drive (just in case) now all I want to do is drink alot of wine... and I can't (too far away for a taxi...no accommodation left)... and we're going on a family holiday soon (mum, dad, 4 sisters and their husbands/boyfriends) and I had my plan how I would tell them all...

Think I should stop getting ahead of myself...and just enjoying the trying to get pregnant stage...

We deffinately haven't seen enough BFP's this month... we need more :o)ll

Lower back ache
Vivid dreams (ever since conception)
increase in apetite
nausa (sometimes)
just feeling pregnant

Hellothere, massive congrats to you.......and to ease your mind I did a quick search and the placenta doesn't start to form til about week 4 and start to work til around the ten week mark.

Cats1, sorry about your bfn, best of luck for next month.

Yesterday I was all on for testing this morning but this morning I chickened out, afraid I'd see a bfn so I'm set for Sat morning now, I'll be 13dpo then. Have a function on Sat so need to test before going so that I know whether I can drink or not (and some time to come up with the "why" if I'm not drinking!!)

Just a quick Q - last month I started spotting on the Thur and got full af on the Sun - is Thurs or Sun the start of LMP? FF is telling me I'm due today which is only CD26 and I've always been 28.

Think I'm off to June ladies, been having mild cramps for last 2 hrs and (tmi) just been to the loo and there's a smear of af in the coming - gutted, thought I had all the symptoms...oh the joys O:|
