Anyone use Preseed?

Anyone use Preseed?

Postby gointochapel » Thu Apr 26, 2022 2:05 pm

girls, just finished cycle number 4, no luck again.... did notice this month though had very little if any Egg White Cervical Mucous - think i did ovulate as around day 16/17/18 felt very wet down there , had lotiony CM but just no egg whites - none at all this month ! am a bit worried first 2 months i saw a good bit around ovulation but for last 2 months have seen less and less .... so am thinking for cycle # 5 am going to try pressed , any one used this and how do you acutally use it ? any success stories for me !
am not sure whats going on - i know statistically there is nothing wrong - as this is our 1st baby we're trying for, im 29 and know that it takes a healthy couple up to 6 months to conceive, but im finding it hard, realy hard to keep going every month ( ive put a a few posts before where ive been losing my mind already and its only been 4 cycles...i fear for my sanity if its a long road for us....) anyway jsut looking for some info on this ! as ever, thanks girls ! :wv

I used EPO from CD1 up to OV and I also used preseed when DTD as I never produced much if any EWCM. The month we got our BFP I had used Robitussin aswell. You take it 5 days before OV & day of OV. Its meant to thin out the mucous and help the little swimmers get to their destination!!

As for how to use the preseed. You can apply some on your lady area manually or there was a syringe thing aswell if you wanted to use it internally. A LITTLE GOES ALONG WAY WITH THIS STUFF so just be careful!! You can put some on hubbys bit aswell but I know my hubby hated it as he didn't think he could "feel" any sensation when DTD and put him off a few times (which is very frustrating!!!) So just play around with it. Practice with how much or how little you like before the all important OV time. :babydust: :babydust: :babydust:

Yes! Had been trying unsuccessfully for 8 months with what I thought was normal enough CM. Normal as in I had it every month at the same time and at the correct time but nothing happening so on 9th cycle decided to try Pre-seed and hey presto a BFP on that very cycle. :o)ll

It doesn't work for everyone obviously but it's worth a shot. I am positive it is what helped us get our BFP. We used it 4 times in total starting on day 10 and every day up to day 14. It's easy to use and a little goes a long way. HTH.

aw thanks so much girls for that - meant to say that i did use on my 2nd month, EPO 2000mg and also took robitussin as well !!! it actually didnt make any difference to my CM !!! was so annoyed i expected Miracles from it ! but this month i am defo defo using preseed, dont care what hubby says !!!!! i intend to maybe inject it up into me ! :-8 and hopefully please god that it works this time, i have it in my head that its me and my lack of CM thats holding us back ! god only knows if this is the reason we're not pregnant yet but its worth a shot maybe? feel like im losing the plot again this month, am so morto about doing this but last night i took a HPT , even though yesterday morning i got my period, however i was a day late - and was totally grasping at straws, of course it was a BFN !!!! but i had to do it, i dont know why....sigh , think im losing the run of myself !!!!! didn tell hubby he would have thought i had been released from the crazy house if i did ... but bought a cheapie from tesco , used one and kept one, hopefully ill need it this month with any luck !!!!!!!!!! :wv xx

Hi gointochapel, I'm after getting preseed for this month also.
I haven't told hubby yet... I'm wondering if I need to???. To those who have used it does it get super slippy when DTD (sorry if tmi!) if you put it indide with the syringes??
I usually get cm butnim wondering if its enough?? Shur itsnnot going to do any harm to try it and lot of people swear it was the reason they got their BFP!
Fingers crossed for us.. Would be great if it works O-O

We used preseed on our 2nd month trying and got our BFP!

The syringe has a mark for 1mm, I would just use that amount inside.

yeah you see i wanted to use preseed this month but DH was like, no! we dont need to ! i know that you use it for vaginal dryness and while i dont really have that prob when DTD around ovulation ( god Sorry WAY tmi !!!! ) but just cause its ahem, wet , down there doesnt mean that its a good enviornment and while Egg whites are ideal, if im not producing that myself then i have to improvise and a lot of people are recomending preseed so what is the harm in using it !!!!! i dont care what DH says now, im defo buying it and defo using it ! god im after getting a little bit of hope now please god it works for us this time ! i got my AF yesterday so i have another 2 weeks before i even start to ovulate ( im on a 31/32 day cycle ) so will buy it next week and maybe experiement with it before ovulation !! thanks girls, really hope it work and colabottle you get it too and we can share stories and please god we both get our BFP next month !!!!!!!!!! :babydust: xxx

I used it before, but I was doing so many things that I'm not sure if I can credit my bfp to it alone. However, I did find the recommended amount is too much - a little less is plenty. Now I'm ttcing for no.2 and inhealth threw in two free sachets of the stuff so I'll use it again. DH doesn't have to know, just use it as a lubricant yourself - he'll think you're just really excited!!!

Was going to say this, if you use a small amount he won't even notice the difference. I asked my DH if he did and he said it felt the same as usual(even though obviously he saw me use it IYKWIM).

Im in the same boat gointochapel, tried robitussin at right dose etc to increase my EWCM and no joy, absolutely no difference. I bought a huge tub of EPO and had decided to take 3000mg up to ov but am scared to as lots of girls found it delayed OV which would drive me up the wall. I always notice EWCM around Ov, from charting i appear to be ovulating each month and I cant understand why it hasnt happened yet. Im guessing my ewcm is not sufficient so my preseed arrived yest so ill be all over it (Literally!)

Im 31, ttc no 1 and May will be my cycle 5 too. I was consoling myself with being able to drink last weekend as AF arrived yesterday , but im getting quite sad about it. Im super impatient so i have already had D3 and 21 bloods done and my OH is getting SA done on fri.I know im jumping the gun, but if there is a medical problem with either of us, it will still be there in six months time so i want to sort it now!

Like everyone else said, I just never thought i would be that girl who has a problem conceiving but im being dramatic as 4 attempts does not mean failure and each month Ive learned more and gotten "better" if you know what i mean!

Anyway thats 3 preseed novices for May so i will report back with a BFP I hope !

Hi dubm, i know how you feel, im super impatient as well, last month i was really really devasted when AF arrived, it hit me hard for some reason i though that 3rd time would be lucky for us but it wasnt meant to be... however this month im not too bad im going on holidays so , like you said, am consoling myself with the thoughts of havign a few drinks on hol's and just trying to relax , however my DH has been hit pretty bad by it this month - he was always saying to me, before we were atively ttc he always thought that the whole process might take a few months , i always thought we'd get lucky first time !!! dont know why and now looking back i wish i had prepared myself a bit better...but poor DH is very upset this month , he really really wants this and to be fair to him is great and getting up the energy and motivated for all the DTD around ovulation .... i jsut feel bad for him this month , its just an overall feeling of sadness sometimes when it hits... and its so long , like its not like you can just keep going every day you have to wait a whole month to try again and the whole process is just so overwhelming sometimes..... i never thought either that i would have a problem with ttc.... im hoping that its just my CM is not that friendly at the moment and that by using the Pre Seed it will give it friendly push it needs... here's hoping anyway, if its not that - then i dont even want to think about what could be wrong ....... xxx

I used it on CD 12 and 13
Its CD 14 today so will take a break from it as haven't had a +ve OPK yet.
Its weird stuff, i only use up to the 1mm mark as others have suggested and they are right. Its slippy stuff, only thing i worry about when using it is most of his stuff coming out afterwards cause the preseed is in there
:-8
Let me know how you all find using it too.
