Hi There - I have been a reader on these boards for some time but haven't posted.

Have you thought about a balance bike - i.e a bike with no pedals - this will help with the childs coordination and balance, he will start by walking along and in no time he will be gliding along. I am supplier of strider bikes in ireland so PM if you would like more info or check out www.striderbikes.ie.
