A friend of a friend is singing at our wedding along with her sister a singer/violinist and a guitarist.
I would love to have She Moved through the Fair as an entrance song but noted you don't suggest this. Is there a reason? I love the song but wondering if it's a bit slow or sad...thanks x

I have actually done She Moved Through The Fair as an entrance a few times so as long as your priest is ok with it then it's certainly a suitable rythm for the bride's entrance. I just threw up a few examples on my list below to give people an idea for the various parts of the mass. I would most often be asked to sing a verse of She Moved Through the Fair at the individual candle lighting before the actual ceremony begins but as your entrance is before the "mass" some priests will allow it - others won't so it's really just a matter of giving your celebrant a call and asking him what he thinks.
