Hey girls - Micls - I've just realised you live in Thailand - is that right? Saw some of your other posts, very jealous indeed. I love BKK! I think I'm done on the travelling front though unfortunately!! The bags sounds brilliant by the way - maybe a list of nice restaurants etc would be good - I had a friend living there when I was there and it was great to get to some of the nicer places - although pad thai on the side of the road...yum! Making myself hungry!

Anyway I've decided not to go to WW today - I'm such a scardie cat!! On the upside, I ran Tuesday, spinnging yesterday and running this morning. Off to London for the weekend, not a mad one though so hopefuly won't be too bad. So other than exercise, I'm not fulfulling any of my goals!! Oh well!

Yeah, 2nd year living here and absolutely love it :) Moving on after the wedding though to try somewhere new!

Thanks. We're planning on doing a welcome booklet, which will have ideas like that. Directions to places to see, restaurants, some thai etc. Also, we'll spend a lot of time with people so will bring them to some of our favourite places (many which are just women on street corners :))

Thursday:
Protein- 76g (low today)
Exercise- 0
Cals- 1674

Not counting the walking to the train and back, which is 20-30 mins a day as exercise.

Where are you thinking? Are you going to stay in Asia? My cousin lives in Laos at the moment, fair play to her!! How you can stick to a 'diet' in Asia I don't know - although it's all fresh food so I guess it makes it easier...mmm bags of pineapple!!

Absolutely not idea where next! We're off to Africa for a little over 2 months for honeymoon, home for Christmas, and then off to wherever offers me a job for January!

Dieting in asia is expensive! It means avoiding all the yummy, cheap street food and buying your own stuff to make at home which works out much pricier. Pain in the behind. Although given that I put on 1.5stone since coming to Asia, before I realised and started losing it, there's not much option!

Luckily I was able to take a career break, so have the security of coming back in 2015 if I want. The way we're feeling though I think that might be a bit early, don't think we'll have seen nearly enough and can't see myself settling at home at that stage. We'll see though.

South America is next on my list of areas to see! Sounds absolutely amazing. We want to be in that area for the world cup in Brazil in 2014, fingers crossed.

I think it's be the place choosing me rather than me choosing a place. As a teacher, jobs are more limited in January so it'l be wherever takes me to replenish the savings :D

Back tracking today. I'm awful at tracking at the weekend, and didn't work out (bar walking around picking up bits for the wedding!). Have my boiled eggs with me in work for protein snacks!

That;s completely normal. Make sure you eat back the exercise calories.

So, work out your deficit, pre workout, and then any exercise you do should be extra food. If you eat too little and burn too much it can stall weightloss too.

Keep at it. It took me over a year to reach my goal, with long periods fo falling off the wagon completeley!

Hello!!

Long lost tracker here!!

First of all Micls - DELIGHTED for you!!! That's incredible, well done!!! :thnk :thnk :thnk

Apologies for disappearing, still on holidays, have had sporadic net access which takes forever to load since we arrived...I tried doing a long back dated post of what i've been tracking in my little notebook but sure enough...crash near the end of it.... :duh:

Overall the holiday has been very active, 4-6hours of trekking each day for the last two weeks which is great. However, brekkie, lunch and dinner out each day. I've ordered healthy options but I can taste the grease in the omelets and brown bread/rice doesn't seem to exist!!

I've been reading your posts and you guys are doing fantastic!!

I've no access to a weighing scale but my clothes are a little looser :) FIngers and toes crossed i'll break into the 130's! At the moment i'm looking forward to weigh in but that won't be for a couple more weeks and now is our 'relaxing time' so I'll have to keep an extra eye on how much i'm consuming.

Now that the trek is over I hope to log a bit better! Keep up the great work :)
