hey guy's

2010mrs, im feeling ok my womb area felt a bit battered yesterday and i was bunged up :-8 but im all good this morning, :o0 drinking lots of water even though i hate drinking water im managing a litre and a half which is good for me.
im not finding the progesterone gel to bad not having any spotting or leaks so i hope a big blob doesnt come out and give me a heart attack after transfer as i heard can happen, i was awake at 4.30am so i just listened to my anji meditation on my ipod until the charge ran out. i guess it just from the steroids.

haven't heard from sims since so i hope our 5 embbies made it through the night, i was talking to them last night, my dh reckons they are 3 girls and 2 boys and the girls are really bossy. i know i might sound mad but i read having an emotional connection is good for getting the mind on board. if we get bad news at anytime ill deal with then so am trying to stay positive.

leaf where are you at now, i hope your cycle is going well :babydust: :babydust: :lvs :lvs

hey busby :wv chat you soon :lvs

AuntieD: Happy Birthday! O-O
I had considered booking a sun holiday myself for after the 2ww. The nurse said "if" It was a positive result there shouldn't be any problem but I'm a little iffy about things like that.
Really didn't want to take any chances so booked an Irish holiday instead.
How long is the flight? I probably would travel on a short flight e.g mallorca but I wouldn't like to be on a plane for too long.
Don't forget loads of people get IVF abroad and have to fly home. I would say go with your gut instinct. :lvs

Hi All

Jewel hope those little boys and girls are doing well. I think the emotional connection is good, its all about PMA.. The steroids are the worst for sleep and you'd be awake at random hours. Will be thinking about you tomorrow, what time is ET.
I'm feeling so excited for you.

Auntie D, a sun holiday sounds good, Im sure doctor would advise if ok to fly, check with the clinic just in case. A lot of the WOLs who go abroad for IVF would fly home in the 2WW

OMG Jewel!! I can't believe it. What a shock.

Timing couldn't be worse, as if you don't have enough on your plate.
At least nothing valuable was taken. It's a real violation thinking of strangers in your home like that. Hopefully the guards might hear something and catch the f*ckers. Excuse my French.

Even if they don't, what goes around comes around. Karma will eventually catch up with them.

AuntieD, I had checked during my last cycle as I was planning booking a holiday and was told that as long as it was a short flight (2-3hrs) it would be fine but they wouldn't recommend anything longer. If I get to ET this time I'm going to have to fly shortly after it as I have to get home but really you have to do what you feel is right for you.

Jewellb, Thinking of you today, hope all goes smoothly :lvs It's awful about the break in, I'm glad they didn't get anything but it's the last thing you need when you're trying to relax and prepare yourself for ET.

Busby, best of luck with your scan today, hope you get the go-ahead for transfer soon

AFM, I have my first scan tomorrow (cd7) so hopefully I'll be responding better that I did on my 2 cycles here. I'm finding that about 3 hours after the menopur injection I start to feel a but sick so I'm hoping that means it's doing something. We still don't have a date for flying over so I'd say our flights are going to be dear but we've booked into a hotel where we can change the booking up to 24hrs in advance and it was cheaper than we had planned so it should help cover the extra on the flights - saying that it will still be cheaper overall than cycling in sims and we get a bit of a holiday out of it too. I'm feeling fairly positive since the weekend as I'm on another board for people going to cube and there were loads of bfps over the weekend so it seems to be going through a spell of good luck just now.

Thanks a mill for the replies. I had asked in the beginning and the doc said as long as it wasn't more than 4 hours it should be ok. That was me thinking that ET would take place about the 21st and we fly out the 2nd. But now with the delay, ET prob wont be til 28th if we're lucky.
don't know what to do for the best. I know people fly home after foreign ET and are ok but I'm left thinking what if it doesn't work, will it be cos I flew? AAAGGHHHH my head is wrecked. My heart is saying don't decide yet, wait and see. We need this holiday one way or another

Hi AuntieD I have to travel for work and unfortunately I will have no other option but to travel afterwards...I asked in the clinic and they said that there was no problem as one of the nurses said people are flying every day and don't even know they are pregnant. I think you have to do whatever you feel comfortable with yourself though.
JewelB can't believe you were broken in to.....hope everything goes ok for you today...
Busbybabe and Leaf hope everything goes great with your scans.
I had a scan this morning so going ahead with egg collection on Thurs...I am so nervous don't know why....the nurse was showing me how to use the pregnol adn I couldn't stop shaking...I'm just praying that there will be a few viable follicles in there.

Thanks StillWaiting! That's actually put my mind at rest quite a bit. You're right people don't know sometimes that they are pregnant and fly!

I have another question now, if I haven't down regulated by the scan on Friday....do you think they'll cancel this cycle?
