Hi there, just back in from hosp. Not looking good....lining still the same and now I've a cyst!! :o( My bloods she said shouldve been about 150 (ideally about 40) and they were 219. I'm just gutted. Have to wait til they get the results of this weeks bloods and then they'll tell me if I can proceed or stop. Doc seems to think I'll be stopped. I;m devastated.

JB: I'll soon be joining you....just a few days to go now. It's a pain in the behind trying to keep yourself distracted over the 2ww isn't it?
I really hope you recieve the news we all want o hear on the 22nd :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust:

JB: Can I ask a question about sick certs. The clinic only certify for 2 days so I have to get a further cert from my GP for the 2ww. Do you get this dated from when the other cert ends? I think the last time I got it backdated to cover the clinic but sure I was already covered by the clinic's cert for those 2 days.

Thanks Busbybabe. I should hear later this afternoon. I'm expecting the worst news to be honest. Doc said oh we'll do short protocol next time...really not sure I'm prepared for "next time" if I'm honest.

AuntieD: If the worst comes to the worst and this cycle is cancelled the short protocol may make a huge difference next time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that they can pull it out of the bag. It' frustrating enough going through the cycling and all the hurdles you have to jump to get to transfer, without it being cancelled.

AuntieD that is crappy but try not to lose faith hopefully it will all be ok and if not the short protocol all moves very fast so you won't be too far behind where you are now.
I didn't get the best news this morning....I just feel like getting sick now and wonder will we ever catch a break....of the 14 taken yesterday 12 eggs were mature but only 2 fertilised....when they rang they said that there was a problem with the sperm penetrating the egg and if we do it again we will have to go for ICSI....I feel really sorry for hubby now to because he thinks it is all his fault now....She said that it will 99% be a day 3 transfer now if one of them survive till then but don't know what the chances are with that...I really think my head is going to explode now trying to take it all in.
Girls just wondered did any of you go for conselling??? I really feel if this doesn't work this time that I need to talk to someone...we have been going to the clinic now for 18 months and feel like I'm back to square one again..besides the constant worry of using up all our savings.....sorry for the rant girls just feeling very low at the moment and don't want to tell anyone.

Ah Stillwaiting we're all here to listen and comfort xxx big hugsxxxx can only imagine how you're feeling.
I know there's the chance all will be ok with me but I'm just so gutted that every step of the way there's been a road block which is annoying me. Nothing ever seems straightforward. Just handed over a cheque this morning and now wonder what for really and what I have to do on the short protocol. We don't have any more money to do it again. We're trying to save to get married and this is just taken it all from us at the minute.

Onwards and upwards x

Stillwaiting: All you need is one!!!!!
However I'm really surprised they hadn't suggested ICSI to begin with, as you may have got a higher amount to fertilize and it would have been a better return from the cycle!
Sending you a PM

auntyd sorry to hear you are in limbo land again!!!

for my tuppence worth are you doing acupuncture?? i had acu on cd 1 and she made sure i bleed to high heavens !!! and my linning was grand, also during stims i had it and i believe it makes the follicles grow evenly, then i had 2 treatments before and after transfer the one before make the womb welcoming and opens the cervix to allow catheter in with the embies, then after it makes the womb all relaxed and homely!!!! then i will have one 8 days later to hold the embryos and make sure their happy!!! it might help if your having linning issues, also on cd 2 i had a 13mm cyst that disapeared as the cycle went on.

if you do the short protocol it will fly, from the day i started injections i had ET 14 days later, it really flies, i really hope you get good news!!!! :babydust: :babydust: :lvs

busby, hows it going, i got a cert in my docs th\at said medical procedure it was up til this sunday, but when i asked in sims they said oh no your not aloud go back to work because of the nature of my job. and she said claire on reception would give me a new cert and she didnt mention only 2 days as she knew id need it for 2 weeks. im going to my gp though as id prefer that for work, and ill get the doc to put gynie procedure thats sure fire way of them not asking any nosy questions :o0
busby i tried the riobbos tea and i just dont like it, i dont drink coffee so a least i dont need to go cold turkey on that, what i do now is have half a cup of very weak tea in the morning and i seam to be fine with that.
i cant wait till you get your snow babies in so i have a buddy!!!!

i had the maddest dreams last night, like when i took the hcg shot, but when i woke up i was on my back and thats when i dream really crazy!!!! had a few little twinges but there gone now!!!! :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust:

JB: I was convinced Sims gave me a cert for 2 weeks before, but they said they only give certs for 2 days . Like you my job is "physical" so there is no way I'm doing any "donkeywork" until I see what the result is. If I had a deskjob I'd go back no problem but I'm not taking any chances.

I couldn't sleep a wink last night. BLOODY STEROIDS!!!!! O:|
Took them late yesterday at 10am so made sure to take them at 7 this morning...hopefully I will get some sleep.
Me hubby has booked ticked to go and see "The CountryGirls" in the Gaiety around the time I test...thought it would be good to start booking a few treats in case I need a distraction.

Well I should be joining you on Tuesday evening :o)ll All going well I will have 2 onboard....jesus I hope it works. Just discovered "another" girl pregnant in work last night.....I was just so down and sad. I think we have at least 5 girls pregnant in work now, and it's just so difficult to carry on as normal sometimes :o(

your a great woman for going to shows and plays id say you'll have those babbies in stage school at an early age!!! :o0

i find after the break in im not sleeping great, im sure i will when we get our new alarm and front door. i usually take the steroids about 9am i find the main side effect is feeling a bit weak and watery on them and my heart racing a little, although i have had a few sleepless nights 2!!!

at the moment there are no girls in work pregnant, usually there are 3 at anyone time its been like that for years, it like if one says there pregnant then we always say oh there will be 2 more and there always is, so i hope i start a new set of 3!!!!

please god lets this work. my mantra is " i am so thankful for this pregnancy" what the mind conceives the body achieves !!!! :o0
