Re: Frozen embryo transfers ?

Hi OurYear,
Best of luck with your FET. July isn't so far away and yes i think you are doing the sensible thing waiting till then as moving house can be stressful.
How many snowbabies do you have again? Are they blast? Sorry i forget :-8

Amberjack yep the teething phase is such fun isn't it :zzzz: :zzzz:
But worth every minute :)

Can't believe iv'e to wait till October to go again. Thought i was ok with it but lately i'm getting that jealous feeling again seeing others pregnant. ( so stupid and selfish but just can't help it ). DH won't go before October. I will 100% be going to blast next time as i really really only want to do this once more.

Starsun, great to hear from you again. It is hard seeing pregnant people everywhere, but hopefully your chance will come again.
No news with me, sitting in an airport waiting to come home from the US and the flight is delayed, typical!

Hopeful42012....your symptoms sound like what I had. FX it's a BFP!!! Buckets of babydust. :babydust: It's gas isn't it at the start of the TWW you just want time to go by so that you can test...but then when it comes to testing it just is SOOOOOOO scary. I was like that I really wanted to test when it was to early and then when it was OK to do so, I could barely make myself do it for fear of a BFN. :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust:

Startsun... October will be here in no time. Just enjoy the summer and besides you never know you might not need to go back in October. Two friends of mine with chronically bad MFI's both got pregnancy naturally while waiting to go again. I wish it would happen to me!!!! :o0
We have 2 blast snowbabies. I have no idea of quality though, I suppose I'll find that out when we go back. If the quality is good I think we will put back 1, if it's less then good we will probably go for the 2. Although I know my consultant said before he would be advising 1 as my husband has been through treatment recently and we probably dont have any swimmers left so he was saying it would be better to go for a low risk pregnancy. Personally I'm all on for what raises the odds of any kind of pregnancy!!!

Amberjack you must have a nice little bump now! I can't believe how fast the weeks are going for you.

Busybabe... how are you doing hun? YOu getting ready to go again soon?

Hopeful any news???
Starsun, I do think that the jealous feeling of others being pregnant will never go away fully. Even now, after DS and a miracle, I still get a little pain when I hear of pregnancy announcements. I cant imagine how hard it must be for you. But, as the others say, enjoy the summer and October will be here before you know it!
Ouryear, good luck with the FET. In hari the fet is 900, but its a shorter cycle, starting on CD1 of the cycle where you have transfer, which prob makes a difference re scans etc.
Anyway, if you are moving, surely it will be mad hectic packing to move and then you will be keen to get everything organised in the new house, so would it really just be the same? I just know myself Id be mad to just get unpacking and sorted asap!
Anyway, good luck everyone with the upcoming FET's and testing! There's lots more spaces over on the BFP thread in p&b just waiting for you! :)

To be honest girls for some reason i havent cried is that strange?? , either has dh he thinks its because we are so used to BFN it cant shock us anymore. Now that get me wrong i am devastated it didnt work but i wont bet myself up over it life is too short. Thanks for all the good wishes girls xxxx

Ah hopeful... I'm so sorry. It's not strange that you didn't cry, sometimes it's just too exhausting to cry. YOu will probably go through a roller coaster of emotions...anger, frustration, despair, sadness, grief....and eventually back to hope. It's such a really crappy road. I think you are right to look at immunity, if there is no issues with the quality for the embryos, of course it might just be pot luck and there is nothing wrong but it is better to check. Buckets of hugs missus!!! :xox :xox :xox :xox :xox :xox

Hopeful42012, I'm so sorry to hear your news. It's not strange that you didn't cry - myself and DH were exactly the same when we got the same result back in February, it just takes time to get your head around it. We also have done a fresh cycle and a frozen cycle with day 5 blast, so we both seem to be in the same boat so far. Have you any more frozen embies? We only had the one frozen emby, so we'll be starting from scratch whenever we're ready to go again. Look after yourself Hopeful :xox :xox :xox :xox :xox :xox :xox :xox :xox :xox :xox

Hopeful2012 so so sorry to hear your news. Its so so horrible when you see a BFN..... i just got one myself a few weeks ago after FET ( only i got 2 BFP and the rest BFN ) :duh:

Regarding crying i have to say i cried my eyes out the 1st day i tested as i knew then it was BFN ( after that i didn't cry much).

It really sucks but lets hope we both still get our BIG FAT BFPs in 2012 :xox

Hope Hopeful42012 you are feeling a bit better and you had a nice meal with your DH. That's great you have so many more frozen embies, hopefully you'll be lucky with them. Not sure when myself and DH are going to cycle again, I just felt it took a lot out of me doing the last cycle, so we're taking a break and hoping it might work 'au natural' for us as we have unexplained fertility problems!!! My period came 4 days after getting BFN for FET. Hope you are doing ok Hopeful :xox :xox :xox :xox :xox

Well got my AF yesterday... so booking on today! (but when I go through all the jigs and reels....with the sniffing from day 21...bleed....scan....pills....more scans...it wont be until early July I'll get to transfer (assuming our 1-2 little blasts survive the thaw). It just feels like an eternity away. I was really pee'd off yesterday when AF arrived, I guess a tiny piece of me was hoping for a last minute miracle...and then I was really mad with myself for even thinking it was possible, and placing expectation there again. Anyways onwards and upwards. I'll phone the clinic today and put it all out of my head for 3 weeks (or at least try to).
Is anyone else staring sniffer in about 3 weeks?....any buddy for me???? :o0
