id like to hear more on this qualifying for iui too, i thought once you were in the private system it was v hard to go back public again, also i dont think i could deal with waiting much longer if we hae to go down that route

mrs2b ull be grand hun like the others have said parking is not a problem ive always gotton a space in the hospital down the road and its lierally a 2 min walk up and sometimes u are lucky and theres a space there it really does depend on the day ,ivy fair play on walking from town, thats a fine walk!

mrs2b foodwise like i said ill have a full protein one day a week ,y so ie boiled egg for breakfast, chicken breast oven baked in lemon juice, seasoned with herbs and garlic for lunch, with the onken fat free yoghurt, dinner nice piece of fish again oven baked but loads of it, ie i can have plaice with some salmon and prawns ud be stuffed.
theres also a oatbran bread i make (which is allowed on the dukan diet) if i really need "bread"
other days id have roast chicken/fish with roast veg( loads of peppers, onions, butternut squash and tomatoes drop of olive oil bit of pepper into oven hey presto gorgeous) for dinner and maybe 2 days a week id have small portion of wholeweat pasta or wholegrain rice (50grams of pasta when dry) or half an uncle bens bag again with fish or chicken, i dont really eat red meat apart from the odd spag bol but u can eat steak away to ur hearts content aswell
like oob said it does take planning and god id be in tesco/dunnes for an hr and it does cost slightly more as its all meat and fish i eat but if you follow this for a few weeks u will see results in no time

Thanks a mill Dollars for all the diet info, I am doing a cross between WW and low GI. I lost 3lbs in WW this week.

Can I ask your opinion girls, I am on my second IUI at the mo and for the second time it has been cancelled/changed to TSI as I am not responding very well to meds only one follicle. I was hoping that I would be finished with old clinic and an IUI under my belt before I have first consult with CFC but now as we will be going for our third attempt at our first IUI procedure I will be in the middle of an IUI cycle with my present fertility Clinic when I have my first consult with CFC. Do you think I need to change my appointment or can I go ahead with our initial consult? Or will I just call CFC and see what they say? Thanks appreciate any advice.

Hey ladies hope ye don't mind me posting, I have been referred to CFC, I send an email and they have received my referral letter on the 10th, she said one of the reception team wouldd be in touch with me with an appointment, any idea how long it will be before I hear from them? I'm very impatient, and help or advice would be great!

Hi MRSOC09 -

CFC recieved my referral letter on 29th March and rang me with an appointment date of June 7th on April 16th. I had gotten a referral letter from my GP on March 20th but the letter went astray somewhere along the line. We recieved all the blub and registration forms in the post by April 20th. I've been referred to Dr W so I believe his waiting time is longer. You should have an appointment time v soon if not already as I'm v slow in replying.
So we are both busy getting bloods done at the moment. OH has had his done and will be looking for a S/A appointment by end next week. I'm getting day 21 repeated next week along with Hep B etc. Will also get Day done on next cycle.

Referral letter sent to CFC in Feb got a call at end of feb for appointment the beginning of April so about a month wait for appointments. Appointments for Dr. Waterstone were scheduled from the end of April in my case.

Hope this helps.
