I had some ribbon left over so I made a hair bow clip for our Flowergirl. That ribbon in the middle is the colour of the shoes & wraps I got for the Bridesmaids, pure luck that I had it in my stash.

Re: The Fantabulous DIY Wedding Thread
Thank you!
Awkward Annie I'm using foam flowers, I got them on eBay. Re: The Fantabulous DIY Wedding Thread
I was actually really surprised at how real they looked too, I only ordered a bunch of 4 at the start to see what they were like - but I'm delighted with them! At least it's another thing that I can do in advance. Re: The Fantabulous DIY Wedding Thread
Almost finished my first DIY project for the wedding - our save the dates.
It took me ages to think of something that my OH also liked..then I stumbled across the STD flowchart idea and thought I'd give it a try for myself. I made the flowchart up in photoshop, printed it out on normal tesco white printer paper, laminated it and cut it down to A5. I then bought cheap white envelopes and printed 'stamp' of sorts on the back. I'll handwrite the addresses on the front. I'm undecided if I also need to include a slip of paper (maybe a belly band?) in with the save the dates with the names of the people I'm inviting.. otherwise the only place I'll be mentioning the invitee will be on the front of the envelope... what is the usual thing to do?

Re: The Fantabulous DIY Wedding Thread
Thanks a4d2012! they worked out pretty cheap too.. less than 90c per STD (including envelopes, magnet tape and laminating equipment)
I think I'll just go ahead with the names only on the envelope. thanks again! ![]()
Re: The Fantabulous DIY Wedding Thread
Just wondering if anyone could help me. I bought a veil but I don't think it's bling enough and would love to add a few bits to it.
Can anyone tell me if they have tried this and let me know what they put on???
Re: The Fantabulous DIY Wedding Thread
Candlequeen would you mind telling me what seller you got the flowers from?
Re: The Fantabulous DIY Wedding Thread
I ordered some samples of foam flowers from ebay too. They are lovely and so much cheaper than the real thing. [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

Re: The Fantabulous DIY Wedding Thread
hi guys, looking into my invites now. really want pocketfolds but im wondering has anyone done them with an image/picture on the front? I have a beautiful picture I would love to incorporate into our invites but im not sure how or how it will look.
its the first image here and it sums up me and H2B and our relationship cos he travels alot http://yoshindo.blogspot.de/2010/02/young-love.html Ive only seen invites with pictures/images on the standard card type invites. any ideas?
Re: The Fantabulous DIY Wedding Thread
You could incorporate that photo surely. How about printing that photo out as your invitation mat and putting velum paper with your details on top... you could see the image through it.
