Thanks for all the tips ladies :thnk :thnk :thnk

I am really surprised that you think I am not eating enough as I wasn’t expecting that but will take it on board particularly the breakfast and eating more fruit as a snack. Will also go to the chemist and get something with vitamin B in it or a tonic, will have a chat to the pharmacist.

I think you're just not spreading it out enough eating regularly maintains the energy levels so you don't feel a huge drop in energy.

Ya that makes sense alright especially when I think about how hungry I am at dinner time and would sometimes be a little hungry after eating a full dinner :eek

I thought I was doing good by not snacking :-8 (well I suppose when I used to snack it was chocolate and crisps I was eating so I am conditioned not to snack on anything!)

Not going to repeat all of the above as it's great advise and will help with the energy levels

Just wanted to recommend my tonic. It's called floradix and it's a liquid Orion and vitamin tonic. I find it great to give me a boost especially coming up to something big. It does taste a little awful but if you can get over the taste it will give you the boost you need

Best of luck with the wedding

Thanks ladies for all the replies.

So my new plan is:

8.30 am 1 weetabix (take L-Lysine tablets, Vit B complex and Zinc supplements)
11am yoghurt and banana / yoghurt and smoothie
1.30pm lunch as usual
3pm apple
7pm smaller dinner
9pm glass of cranberry juice

Going to the chemist this evening so will ask about the 2 tonics mentioned and see what they think. Will also be asking them about ditching the berocca aswell cos don’t wanna be taking too much.

Morningsun, I think it might be they May 19th bridal virus - I'm exactly the same!!! I've had the flu and while I'm feeling generally better I'm absolutely knackered all the time - no energy at all. Really hope we both feel a bit better soon - only 3 and a half (very important for my stress levels to include that half) weeks to go!

Hope all the preparations are going well xx

Ya I amn’t even feeling too stressed about the wedding but we are going travelling for a few months afterwards and trying to organise all that so just think everything is just getting on top of me!
Think the travel vaccinations didn’t help either.
You have had a lot on lately as well as trying to plan a wedding so you need to look after yourself. Hope you feel better soon aswell hon, check out the supplements/tonics recommended and see if that helps xx

Just wanted to up date this and have to say what a difference a week makes – thanks SOOOOOOOOOOO much for all the tips. I am like a new person!!

What I changed:
8.45am 1 weetabix (as soon as I get into work)
11am Smoothie + yoghurt / banana + yoghurt
1pm lunch
7pm dinner
(I tried to fit in some fruit in the afternoon but actually was not fit to eat anything more at that stage just couldn’t do it!! )

I also got the Floradix tonic mentioned by someone which is an iron supplement and I have been taking it twice a day. I actually forgot to mention that I changed pills so out of the previous 35 days I had bleeding for 17 days so this probably contributed to my feeling wrecked also.

I am also taking vit B complex, l-lysine (to avoid cold sores) zinc + vit C and the boots hair, skin and nails tablets! So taking a complete cocktail of things but it is only for the short term but am feeling great.

Although it does remind me of the episode of the Big Bang Theory where Penny is buying vitamins and Sheldon says she is paying for the ingredients for very expensive urine
