Modern, every word when pronounce modren

I'm another one who hates fiance, i just felt like a tool saying it.

Corrie, as in short for coronation street, i can't explain why i hate it so much. I made the mistake of telling DH and now he purposely says it in a hammed up nasal english accent to wind me up >:o(

Jeep - especially when said car is not a jeep, just a beefed up, taller two wheel car owned by someone who has one child and therefore 'needs' acres of space for said tiny child and one buggy and takes great pride in referring constantly to said excuse for a jeep and looks at me in horror when i mention that i have a micra and asks how i possibly fit all the baby gear in ( i think the people annoy me more than the word)

Mucus..... I can't even say it out loud without shuddering.

Awesome. I absolutely cannot stand it when people use this word. Unless you are a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle or from the cast of Home and Away, this word is not for everyday run of the mill normal (Irish) people.

'mare. Seriously- does it take too long to say nightmare? My boss always says this. And it drives me bonkers.

I hate saying fiance too, at the minute I stumble between boyfriend and partner which I also hate saying or waving my engagement ring about. :o0

Fiddle - My friend used to describe men that abused children as "He used to fiddle with kids" and now the word makes my skin crawl.

I hate the word "Frape" on Facebook.

I've tried to type a reason for why I hate it, but everything I write sounds wrong! In a nutshell, your mate impersonating you on Facebook, because you forgot to log out, is not in any way comparable to being raped.

And I know people don't mean it in the literal sense, but God it's a horrible word.

Oh me too. Horrible word.

I also hate that people do it in the first place. It's always so obvious when someone impersonates someone else cos it's all 'John Smith has the best wife in the world and is going to buy her diamonds' and you just know that's the wife writing it. It's not even funny!

If yo'ure going to impersonate your mate/fella on Facebook at the very least be original about it! Givus a laugh at least!

As in:

Im expecting number 4.
Im going to collect number 2 at the creche.

probably irrational, but I find it very weird to refer to them that way.
