Ladies, what channel is Touch on and at what time please?
We are watching the Good Wife at the moment. I just love it. Homeland was excellant too. Loved House for a while but it got predictable so stopped watching it.

We're total TV addicts which is weird as we don't have a tv service. We do have a decent internet connection with a generous download limit though.

Can't beat the usual suspects, Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, Criminal Minds, Breaking Bad.

I adore Walking Dead but I did go through a Romero phase in college. Its fantastic.

Started watching The Killing and we'll probably go back to it but we're lethal for having the laptops on the go in front of the TV so its tricky with the subtitles

Like Game of Thrones but this season is hard going. It was steamy before but the nudity has kinda gotten to ridiculous levels this season. Its nearly rare to see the women in clothes now. The scene with Joffrey and his "present" was hard to watch.

Someone please tell me they watch Parks and Recreation? Its the best show on tv at the minute.

I also heart Glee, big time. Its so funny. I'm actually in the knots laughing at it. Rachels original song still makes me laugh.

"There you rest With all the rest
Of my accessories on my night stand
Your red or yellow And like a good fellow
Sometimes you get lost in my mess

But when school girl pigtails won't do
And I need to control my doo
You're the only one I can count on
My head band You're my head band
Wrapped right around my melon
You're a product like Magellan...

We watched season one of Parks & Recreation on RTE Two - hoping the next season will be shown soon!

I love Parks and Rec, hands down the best show on TV at the moment. Also a fan of Game of Thrones (though I completely agree about the ridiculous and unsexy sex), The Office, Modern Family, Breaking Bad. And we're making our way through Curb Your Enthusiasm at the moment - I never watched this when it was originally on, it's very funny.

Yay for the return of The Killing later. Think yer wan might be one of my crushes. It's those wolly jumpers and tense gum-chewing against sheets of interminable rain.

Still suffering chronic withdrawals from Breaking Bad. Have been known to sneakily channel flick my way to Malcolm in the Middle just to catch sight of Walter, albeit in a former, camper, incarnation. Up there on the podium with The Sopranos and The Wire for best shows ever. Have you tried explaining the plotline to anyone? A race between my fella and me. You first (me). No you first (him). No really you..oh..OK then. There's this chemistry teacher....

In fairness he tells it better than me but, unlike me, he never adds how morally conflicting it is for the viewer because he's not a pretentious prat. Unlike me. Walter, Tony Soprano, and McNulty. A trio of bad eggs you can't help rooting for.

I don't know, McNulty almost blew it for me in Season 5 with that ridiculous red ribbon plotline (not to give to much away for those lucky people who still get to watch it for the first time).

As for BB, Walter's great, but it's Jesse who's the real hero of that show.

Bah, I hate Walter now. Everyone thinks I'm mental, but I just can't root for a guy that has zero scruples and morals. Love love love Jesse, he's so human, unlike sociopathic Walt, it's not even about his family anymore, >:o( And what about Skyler!!?? I reckon she's going to get even more cut-throat next season. Should we start a BB thread so we don't spoil it for anyone else? (and then I can delete this comment, doesn't give away too much but feel like a jerk all the same!!)

R2theB, totally agree with you re Walter and Skyler - I actually stopped watching BB because I just couldn't summon any empathy for them any more. It got so incredibly bleak and hopeless I couldn't take any more of it.

McNulty on the otherhand, is probably my most favourite character ever! I can't get used to Dominic West with a public school English accent in real life. He was brilliant as Cromwell in The Devil's Wh0re, jut in case anyone hasn't seen that...
