we looked at a lot of hotels...you can sure get wined and dined!!..was great fun!!
we finally settled on one and got for 49pp:....on a friday in july!

Red carpet arrival, champagne and strawberries for B & G
sparkling wine and canapes for all guests
tea, coffee
use of roof top garden
5 Course meal with choice menu
Wedding menu tasting (already had 2 complimentary meals!)
1/2 bottle wine with dinner per guest
Evening finger food
Chair covers and sashes
Centerpieces
Acommadation Bridal suite for 2nights

Also uplighting included in the venue, i didnt realise this as i was going to rent it, so was a bonus

We paid 79 euro per person which i s quite a bit more than most of you girls but we really loved our hotel it had a lot of history for us :o)ll

We got
Guaranteed one wedding per day
- Red Carpet arrival
- Champagne for Bride & Groom
- Use of ground for photos
- Tea, Coffee, biscuits, mulled wine scones with clotted cream and jam
- Five course meal with a choice on Main Course and dessert and they made homemade bread to go along with our soup at out request
- Free Flowing wine during the meal (any unallocated wine was served behind the bar after dinner)
- Glass of Prosecco for the toast
- Tea Coffee/ Cocktail sausages served as an evening buffet and in the residents bar.
- Menu tasting
- The bridal suite for 2 nights with a champagne breakfast the morning we were going on honeymoon
- 2 exectuive suites for parents
- Reduced rate to 59 per room for Bridal Party and 79 for 20 more rooms
- Chair Covers for all chairs with sash colour of our choice and 2 extra for the chairs in the church (which DH didnt like)
- They booked a DJ for us but we had our own anyway so that was fine

Like i said a little more expensive than the average package but we were delighted with the service and what we got

After reading all those posts I am nearly reluctant to share mine as it seems more expensive!!!

Supplier discount (used this to get 15% off my photographer and 15% off my pre dinner reception music)

o god i cant read this thread anynmore.... Our meal alone with no wine is €65 a head + extra for arrival receptions, canapes, evening food, wine, ect ect. All in all I reckon its about 120 a head

It is a fantastic venue though (not a hotel) and the food is amazing (better be at that price)

Just wanted to say thanks a million for starting and posting on this thread! We haven't been able to set a date or anything yet as the hotels in the place we want to get married close for the winter - we can't view them till they open at the end of march O:|

very frustrating!

Anyway, great to have this sort of info before we book a venue - hopefully it'll help us with the haggling!

) went with the more expensive option but really happy with everything been included.

Were most of these the standard packages or did you haggel for some of these on top of the package?
