Thanks a mill Cocobeans. I had some icecream last night, and one of them went beserk, so that gave me a bit of relief. I'm desperate! I know what to do now if I don't feel them for a while. A cold fizzy drink or some icecream. :o)

Windycity!!! Woohoo girl! That looks a like a brilliant beta to me! You might even have more than one in there! Imagine! :o) My beta at 9DP5DT was 499.5, and that was triplets. When's your first scan? I'd mine at 6.5 weeks, so at least you've a chance to see a heartbeat. Enjoy the excitement!! We're all so happy for you!!! :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll

Hey WC, it's hard to tell at this stage if it's high enough for multiples, but it certainly is a very good beta. I'd just say, don't be too surprised, if they say twins at your first scan! lol!

Enjoy all the excitment! :o)

Hi girls,
I figured it was time I moved from the TTC with assistance thread to this one...
I'm 11 weeks today after getting very lucky with our 1st round of ICSI :o)ll
We have our first proper maternity apt tomorrow and am very excited.
I've found the waiting during the first trimester to be over, like torture but am nearly there.
Best of luck to everyone and their little beans. :wv

Thanks girls,
Windycity, congrats on your BFP, it's amazing when you finally get that long awaited result. We were both very lucky on our 1st attempts eh? We had an elective single blast transferred as the docs felt due to my age etc my chance of twins was very high and they see it as a high risk pregnancy. To be honest I wouldn't have minded seeing what happened but thought I should take their advice...
I didn't have my beta levels checked so I'm afraid I can't help there. I just know I had very bad nausea from the week before testing which is still going strong. I'd one scan at 7 weeks and saw the heartbeat and then they sent me into the early preg unit last week as a precaution cos I had a bit of discharge. I think they're just very cautious with IVF mams. We had another scan and all was good. Once you get to see babs on screen and see the hearbeat you relax a little bit. Maybe for you there'll be two little flutters.....

thanks Safari! We too were advised by another clinic to only put back one as Im 31 but we just really didnt want to go through this hell again. The blasts we put back were at stage 1 and 3,
I cant wait for scan in two weeks.. time cant go quick enough. Some minutes I feell really really pregnant then the next Im completly fine! Sorry to hear about your discharge, what should I look out for just in case? After the IVF journey you just become so nervous about everything .. I still cant believe theres a little bean in there!! I get really light headed and tired around 5p til about 8 then I eat dinner and it lifts. Im grand again now. Finding it hard to slepp tho. could be the excitement and shock tho :o0 :o)ll

I was with HARI and am 30, so that sounds like their philosophy.
Between 4 and 5pm was my worst time in the early weeks too, would feel very light headed and nauseous. It has eased up over the last couple of weeks though.
The discharge I had was a creamy/brown colour and just lasted for one day half way through my 10th week. My g.p. said she figured it was normal but just wanted to be sure I think. The dr in the e.p.u said it's very common, so don't worry if it does happen.
I know what you mean about waiting for the scan. After the 2ww having to wait another 3 weeks for a scan is real torture, but well worth the wait. Enjoy it all and get as much rest as poss.
Oh, and my sleep was very disturbed for the first couple of weeks too. I think it was a mix of excitement/worry something would go wrong and nausea. It settled down after week 6 I think.
