Hi girls congrats on all the arrivals, well my little lady is 2 weeks old today ... DH only took a week off so he's been back at work since Monday, I'm mad about her but I have to say the tiredness is unreal,and I'm finding that quite hard to cope with. I decided to just bottle feed which means DH can help out a bit more but it's tough relentless work! She's an unbelievably hungry baby and has gained 5oz already but the constant feeding, burping, settling cycle is hard when you're feeling this exhausted!!
I also got an infection in my stitches so I've been on antibiotics and in and out of the hospital a few times, so all in all it's been a rough 2 weeks, I'm hoping that things start to get easier and she has more of a manageable pattern to her feeding over the next few weeks! Well my little girl was born Monday night at 9pm 9lbs 6oz after induction and getting gel twice ! People warned me your 2nd labour is quick but nothing and I mean nothing prepared me for how quick this was started getting pressure type pains very low down after 5pm mon evening but they were totally manageable up until 8.30pm when I heard a pop and it was my mucus plug going and then the pains started coming seriously quick and seriously painful just about got to the labour ward when I knew I needed to push and out she came in less than 5 mins in 2 or 3 pushes no epidural as there was no time !! A totally different experience to my ds arrival with 1 and a half hrs of pushing !!!

I may have to move to the may thread at this rate, no sign of my little one dropping let alone arriving, have a real lazy bones on my hands here i think! ttc11 i'm with you on the tiredness but I have to say my little one is 4 wks old now and has settled into a routine of sorts and sleeping for longer spells at night so it will end for you soon...it's tough going those first few wks! hopefully i won't have spoke too soon! She'll probably be awake all night tonight:) and i know everyone says it but do try to sleep when baby sleeps...i ended up cleaning the house and was waiting at the door for my hubbie to come home in the evenings wrecked with tiredness!! better go....feeding time approaching:)....

Congrats to the mammies who gave birth this week.
I can not believe dd is now 8 days old and since yesterday i actually feel great! That might all change by sunday as dh away working tomorrow til late saturday night so on my own with ds and dd for the first time. My mam helped me this week but she has food poisioning today after a meal out last night. Stitches still very sore but getting better and dd is great, sleepibg all day and got 5 hours out of her last nightzz Best of luck to the rest of you! Hi Girls! Congratulations on all the new baba's!! Well, our little man arrived last week - 10 days early! Couldnt believe it - dh was convinced he would be early but not me! We are just mad about him! Starting to get into a bit of a routine (knock on wood!!). Feeling good myself, have stitches but they are getting less sore every day. Bf going well thank goodness so far.

Came home yesterday, sore with my stitches but so happy to be home with my little man.
So good, and no real crying even with me trying to BF. Can't believe he came so quick in the end. Went in for my app had a sweep and 3 hrs later my waters popped and less than 9 later he was here. Hope all the April mammies are doing well.
We had our little boy last Tues 9 lbs 11oz!! The boys are definately making a come back in the end. Had a very quick labour, went into hospital after waters broke and they sent me home saying no sign of anything happening. 4 hours later I was back in the door, at 9cms and whisked straight up to delivery room. An hour and a half later our little man arrived. He has been so good and we're smitten! Hope everyone is enjoying motherhood so far and the best of luck to all the mammy's still waiting

Morning All and congrats to all the newborns that arrived while I was in having mine, delighted to say my darling daughter was born on April 25th her due date at 16.38 weighing 8lbs. We have called her Daisy. Arrived by section after induction on Monday, it was very long and I was exhausted after it all but so worth it.
