***August 2012 Babies***

Glad to see it's not just me who is feeling the effects!

I know what you mean about it seeming more real, I ordered nursery bedding from Mamas and Papas that I wanted while it was on offer, it arrived yesterday and I was extremely excited, I keep looking at it and it it really strange to see baby things in my house!

I find I'm waking up in the middle of night, and I stay awake for hours! So as a result I'm very tired around 4pm.

Anyone else feel like they are in the growth spurt now? I'm starting to feel 'big', even though everyone around me tells me I'm neat.

I wake so many times at night it's so tiring.

Feel so tired this week, my sister and husband were saying maybe baby is having a growth spurt. Also people are telling me I'm very big, so I'm very self conscious.

I've been having naps on the couch at the weekend and can barley keep my eyes open in the evening.

Definitely feeling huge mrsbb, woke up today and my bump was huuuuuuuuuuge! Everyone keeps telling me I'm tiny though but it's just cause I'm so tall.

As far as I know Markel you can take as much as you want. My sister was told the same.
I can't even stomach the stuff myself. The texture makes me gag :hic

DH tells me I'm lucky since I'm so neat, I just don't feel it though. I'm lamenting my B cup bras and tiny jeans :weep

I was told yesterday that I was just bump and I was flipping delighted!
I'm still in some of my normal jeans at 27 weeks, so I can't be that big!

So annoying isn't it?! A girl came into work the other day, she looked obviously pregnant but lovely and small and cute so I asked her when she was due and it turns out the same week as me, I said to her "oh, apparently we're very neat" and she laughed and rolled her eyes. She said a lot of people are saying she's "tiny" and is she sure that she is as far long as she says?!? Seriously, as if she would be lying about her dates.

I just keep getting "oh you're only baby, very neat etc etc" which is nice cos I'm a curvy size 14 anyway so can't afford to be getting too big. A lot of my maternity clothes are a size 12 - I feel so skinny (well, like a skinny elephant!)
To anyone who knows me in the outside world, come say hi, or stop reading my posts!!!

Hi Girls,
I'm the same, feel massive but everyone tells me I'm very neat and its just a bump and wouldn't know I was pregnant from behind!! :) Great to hear!!! Can't believe I'm 28 weeks this Thursday, 12 to go, which means 10 weeks left in work, I had to finish 3 weeks earlier the last time, so that may happen again...so I would be finishing the end of June!!

I haven't been on here in ages, so since I was on last, I had 20 week scan at 22 weeks, met Consultant and he referred me for an anomoly scan...had that and all is well. Had some heartburn last week so had to buy Acidex (cheaper version of gaviscon but does exactly the same thing).

Trying hard at the moment to decide on names, its so hard, DH and I are so fussy!! Can't agree on many!!

Hi girls

Have many of you bought much baby stuff yet?

I've just started writing a list based on the sticky at the top of the page and my info booklet from the hospital. It's fairly long!

We've got deposits down on nursery furniture and the travel system, and I have most of the nursery bedding and curtains etc but it's all the other bits and bobs that I hadn't really thought of like bibs and a baby bath and stuff like that! Anyway I'm looking forward to doing a bit of shopping now!

We have the cotbed paid for, and ordered the mattress, changing bag, tummy tub & stand, thermometer from the same shop. They will deliver to us in June. We got a nightlight and mobile in Ikea as well as two chests of drawers for babies room.
Apart from that I've a few bottles, cotbed sheets, water wipes, towels, grobags and some clothes.
My sister gave me a few bits, a swing, moses basket, playmat and she bought us a rug for the baby room.
We also have my husbands moses basket so I need to get a mattress for that.
