Postby mrs » Wed Sep 21, 2022 10:33 am

Kinda curious on this one, alot of post refer to 'financial reasons', 'financial difficulties' and finances in general!

Just wondering how we do it with the money we are on!

Okay sorry girls,

Whats the time scale? Is that gross or net? Would annual income not be more meaningful?

No we are both paid weekly and hubby works for a major Engeering company. We would come out with about €1500 a week (after tax)

I think an annual salary for B2B and H2B might be better.

You all seem to be earning a lot, maybe some H2Bs are doing overtime/shift work?

The mortgage comfort indicator says that your mortgage payments should be less than 25% of your disposable income.

Most of you should fall well withint that indicator, as most mortgages are anything from E500 to E900 a month.

From most of Bridget's posts I've become convinced she lives in a time warp - someplace were its still the 1960's and Dev. is still President. FI lives at home, never stays over, almost no sex, rarely go out anywhere but the local pub and he is tight as a constipated nun's ass. I hope she is saving the green sheild stamps for a new twin tub after they get married!!!

No need to be so harsh - our mortgage is less than 900 a month.

I think I'm living in the same place as bridget then. My mortgage is under €500 a month, and I have it five years. I don't have a car loan/credit union loan and I saved and paid for my wedding. I owe about €300 on credit card this month and I clear it every month.

Last time I seen Green Shield Stamps was on the Antiques Roadshow!
