Great thread especially with all that's been going on. Welcome everyone and good luck with your weddings! I found this site brilliant for help and advice. Just be careful you don't start to believe that you need to have/do EVERYTHING suggested on here!!

Welcome to one and all!! Its a great site for advice and you will learn a lot from everyone's posts, loads of different types of personalities on here too which keeps it interesting...but everyone is here to help and advise eachother, enjoy and you WILL become addicted v quickly :o)ll

Big welcome to all the newbies! I was a lurker for a long, long time but I'm getting more and more into it now. A bit too much into it in fact. (I've so far managed to turn 7 pages of a 55 page contract that's been sitting in front of me at least 2 hours! :ooh

Welcome to all new wollies

Though I think WOL should have a "welcome" section so new wols who have joined can introduce themselves. I would imagine this thread will get lost soon. WhereAs if there was a welcome section all wols can see the newbies and can pop over and say hello

There is a welcome section on another site and works very well. It's an icebreaker for the newbie because I know when I joined here I didn't know what sections I could use.

No of course not, you can use anywhere you like but when I joined I wasn't sure what old faithful was for or you see a lot of wols (mainly newbies) using wedding day reports to ask questions etc when it is solely for wedding day reports

There is a thread over in Old Faithfull called sept 2011 brides, maybe if help to you, and you can see what stage everyone else is at.

Hi all!

My name is eerie...and i'm a newbie!

Got engaged about 2 weeks ago and hope to get married in June 2011 - not much time but i'm hoping it'll all work out OK. I'm in the USA for the next few months (hence the middle of the night posting!) so am doing my best to start planning from afar and not get too stressed!
