It's definitely dying UNLESS we all instill it in our younger people and children.

I don't need a man to open a door for me but I do expect it manners to give your seat to a pregnant woman or an elderly person whether male or female.

Totally agree with you on that one. I try to teach my kids manners and kindness towards others. But what I have seen happen a lot lately is my son holding open a door for people (even women with buggies) and they don't even say thank you to him. He looks so disappointed when they don't (he's only 4!!)....I usually say very loudly "Thanks honey, that was very nice of you to hold the door open for those people"......doesn't seem to shame them into saying thanks though!
