Well ladies!
You'd put me to shame Platinium!!! Well done it all looks fab! Really like the table number holders!
So was over in the Borgo there Easter weekend! It was just as I remembered...perfect! One of my bridesmaids and her husband were with us and they loved the place. Twas great to bring people and have a second opinion on everything! The food was great as usual (beef could have been a little better done, said it to Steve and of course we have a promise that it will be done perfect on the day). Aside from that it was amazing, Easter lunch is very big over there and there was something like 600 people booked in for lunch on both Sunday and Monday! Place was crazy!Food was still great though!!

Caz, your very nearly there! How you feeling? I'm in agreement with you on the apple centerpieces! And with everything else on the table I think they will be grand!!! Must get on with table plan and how I'm going to present it!

If there is anything you need done or to be got in Dublin just ask!!!

Im great ...sorry am i getting married or something ha ha
everyone is like ...oooo not long now and i still in my head think its months away and its someone else ...

soooooo dreading the packing ....and no one is around on the days that im free
I think i should stay away from H2B cos nearly had argument last night about packing day .....yes my first bridezilla moment ...a packing day !!!
we have one evening before we leave where both of us are home to pack and one to mind the boys ....my mam is off tues but ive to go to galway to be beautified all that ...and mil minds them every day anyway so i hate asking her to do extra
ONE EVENING !!!!!!!!!

and he thinks that a couple of tshirts will do ...week in italy and week in dubai ...seriously what is with him ? O:|

oh it will all work out grand!Anything you forget can be got over there and if himself runs out of tshirts then I believe there is great shopping to be done in Dubai!! I'm a light packer but my OH is nuts altogether!
Sure if you are not entitled to at least one brideszilla moment then where is the fun in it all??? Just for the craic like...freak himself out a little! Bet he is as cool as a breeze, they (men) generally are!!!
Your a west of Ireland lady like myself then...(Mayo for me).

I'm just wondering what Borgo brides are doing regarding their wedding dress, mens suits etc. (and all of the bits and bobs we post over to tragliata prior to the wedding) after the wedding? Are ye just going to ask different family members to bring home different items (which will be difficult for me as many of my family will be making the most of being in Italy and continuing on to other locations) or are ye just going to post everything?? Just another random thought that has been bugging me ;))

Me and OH are bringing our own on flight, and so is evryone else, if they loose them thats there problem they just wont be taking part in the wedding, haha, I'm only kinda joking about that? then we will all just bring them home again, we are flying aer lingus and they are meant to be brilliant with things like that, like letting you carry them on with you aswell as your hand luggage, well I hope

Anyway ladies, has anyone heard of a caricture artist over in Rome, I was thinking of getting one so all the guests can get a funny portrait done, and we will get Steve to post them back to us, frame them and give them out as a Thank you/favour of the day, I e mailed Steve, so hopefully, going for an Italian theme, got little wine corks for the place names and going naming the tables after attractions in Rome, like the coliseum and the trevi fountain, then when we go over in July/August I might go into a trinket shop and see will they do me a deal on like 6 colisiem magnets, 6 trvei fountain magnets and so on,

Seems as we are sharing ideas I said I would share mine,

We are having our wedding on the terrace, is anyone else doing like a seating plan, do you think the name cards will be enough

Hi all

Me and my fiancé are planning to get married in Rome next Summer, and have just got back from visiting Borgo di tragliata this week. All your reports on Borgo are fantastic and has made us even more excited to possibly have this as our wedding venue. I just wondered if anyone would be able to send us a few of your wedding pictures, so we could get an idea of what a wedding would look like there. As to be honest after reading all these amazing reports on the venue and Stephen Gerrard, I feel like the website doesn’t do the place justice. I hope you don’t mind me asking and if it’s not possible then I completely understand. As I said many thanks for your report and if we decide to marry there I’m sure it will be very helpful.
