BORGO was an absolute dream ....ya know when reading reports you always think 'ya ya bet my family will annoy me and complain about something ' but seriously like every other bride on this ...everyone of my guests are still talking about it
they spent the whole day saying how brillant the whole place was ..the set up the relaxation of it etc etc
Ok so here is a quick run down
Got to Borgo on the friday ...there was a wedding on sat so we kinda made ourself quiet for those days ...
Steve was as professional as ever and made time for us even thou he was mobbed with the other wedding .....we told him to go work on the other wedding and dont worry bout us
Stayed in Artista the first few nights ..lovely place ....
monday
Everyone here today ..few drops of rain ..only light but still ...panicked a bit ...but steve calmed me down and gave me a weather run down ..diagrams drawn and all
BBQ was amazing ...we had aperrtifs at masello pool area then moved around the the back area of the masello as steve said if people feel cold they can sit inside but still with all the doors open so dont feel left out
Anyhoo had such a great night that my romantic last stroll with himself never happened ....supposedly i said good bye
...and then i THINK i made it to the Borgo apartments ..the rest was told to me ....i went up the hill leaning backwards ...carried by my two sisters ....refused to walk the rest of the way ....they put me to bed ..cleaned and mosturised my face ..earrings off ..the works ....i was BALLOOOOBASSSS ha ha 
Wedding day
Woke to a knock on the door and stumbled up the hall of Communacio to see Janita laughing at me ....I LOVE her
She had everyone done by 1pm ..which was quick to her .....Make up and hair was unbelievable ....3 bridesmaids hair and make up were so gorgeous
then it rained ...poured wet rain ...
...i didnt cry just kept saying to myself ..its only 12n ...it will never rain for another 3 solid hours ......anyway ...about 230pm ..the sun shone from the heavens ....i was dying to just get dressed and get going ....got teary putting on my dress ...and when my mam and dad saw me in it ...but anyone who can use this tip it worked ....i have two kids and ya know those deep labour breathing ...well i did that the whole way from dress to church door ...i looked and sounded ridicolous ..but it worked and i didnt cry going up the aisle the wedding day was amazing .....GIANNI FANTAUZZI is a legend ....he was so brillant ...so funny and such a nice guy ...we got great photos .....we also took photos the next day in Rome city with Gianni also and i was so glad we had the chance to get to know him better that day ...he did soooooo much for us and cannot wait to see the photos ..saw about 5 here and there and they looked fab ....going around rome was an unbelieavble experience...we were like celebs ..everyone was so nice and nearly everyone congratulated us .....and cleared every tourist area for our photos ...the trevi fountain was a bit embarrasing .....whole area cleared and all clapping and cheering
anyway i def recommend getting this done ..it was sooo worth it and even himself loved it ...himself and steve had some laugh that i was dragging him for more photos the day after but he kept saying he was so glad i made him do it .....we went off ourselves and Gianni ...walked a but taxi a bit and it was lovely to spend the day together
oh god i could be writing forever on our wedding ....fireworks were amazing ...and everyone loved the surprise ......
Borgo staff ...each and everyone of them were so friendly and treated us like the only wedding they ever saw ......
to all the regular bride to be girls when i get my Giannis photos i would love to let ye see them so pm me if u are interested .....

would love to see more pics when you get them off Gianni. did ye have any issues with the noise from the band on the terrace? i remember a few brides last year needed to move the band as residents in the area wer not happy with the level of noise coming from the receptions on the terrace
