hi im getting married on 14th June at elsavador hoping to have reception at balcon de europer hotel it look fantastic and so does the views cant wait flying out to meet sonya(WP) and to pay some deposits

Off to Nerja in the morning for our venue search. Somewhere between nervous and excited so i suppose nervous excitement is what it is! :-D

So jealous you are going tomorrow my friend was there last week and the weather was fab. We are going over again on the 8th may and can't wait. Can't wait for our wedding date to be set then the excitement will begin :compress

Weather was crap on sunday but lovely yesterday and today! Home with one venue and Church booked for June 2013!!! thrilled!! Maro church then private villa for the reception!!

I'm in nerja at mo too, today was gorgeous but it's so quiet compared to summer months. It's so exciting getting the big things booked, Maro church is lovely, we went to feria there last sept.

We have our menu tasting on thurs, can't wait to see la vinuela again, hopefully the sun stays out and the rain and wind stay away!

Hi all brides to be,

I'm new on here,and getting married in Nerja July 2013(fingers crossed I get my date).I look forward to reading all the posts on here and picking up a lot of tips.Im a bit all over the place,not really knowing what to do,I think that when the church is booked il be a little better.WE are going over in September to look at venues.I have a wedding planner,Sonya casey who has been great with correspondence and at putting my mind at ease.
Anyway that's myself introduced,best of luck to us all with the planning

Hi not a bridezilla awh pity about the weather hopefully the next time you go over the weather will be better. That's great about your date as well all starting to get real. Welcome mrs Ross 2b. Yeah sonya is great we have her too and she is fantastic. Less than 2 weeks till we find out so exciting.

@mscally,I know only 11 days till we Have a definite date. What date are you getting married,we have gone for 28th July .How many times are you going over? We are going over in September to look at venues,hope we can get somewhere we like that is available on our wedding date and not leaving it too late but it's the only time we can get over. When do they do the menu tasting? sorry for all the questions

Hi mrs ross 2b we are hoping for 24th May next year so fingers crossed we get it. This will be our 2nd time over. The first time we went over we were looking at venues. This time we are having our menu tasting can't wait.It really depends if you find a place you love you might be able to have the tasting the time you are over in September. If there is any venue you like say it to Sonya to provisionally book it for that date and ye can easily cancel it. We only have a small group going over so depending on you numbers some of places are massive
