Well am all set for my lunchtime run/walk. Am still reading Run, Fat B, Run - it's hilarious. Not for the faint of heart or those with low self esteem. It is very motivating though.

Had a very healthy dinner last night (cous cous with chicken and roasted veg) and have leftovers for lunch today. I'm on Eltroxin now and heard that it's best to take them on an empty stomach and try not to eat for an hour. So I'm not having breakfast until I get into work - bagel and banana today. Not exactly the healthiest so I may try to bring in porridge for next week.

Wish me luck on my run/walk today - I know I'm looking for any excuse not to go but the Grit Doctor (as per the "Run, Fat B, Run" book) is kicking my a$$ saying "stop making excuses, you FB!! Get your ar$e out there and move". I am listening to the Grit Doctor - she's soooo bossy :o0

With DH starting his new job, am on the look out for healthy 30 min meals for the evenings. I'll make something like a gnocchi or pasta bake on Sunday to have on Monday night and we will probably go out on Friday as it's his first full week of work and we'd have to celebrate, so need ideas for Tue, Wed and Thur. Will have a mosey around the BBC Good Food website, and the one you posted up, Luckylaydee.

Keep up the good work everyone!

Just a quick update to say i survived my first run/walk - 3.85km. Only about 257 calories burned but it's a good start! Loving the Nike app, Next. O-O

Well done lsl - I've just come in from doing a really long one (12.4km). I only normally do about 4 or 5 but I didnt do any yesterday so I said I'd up the ante (sp?) to make up.
Went along the beach at Bull Island and it was beautiful.
Fair play - you've kick started it now.

I must get that book - its sounds like my kinda thing....

That's seriously impressive! Am hauling my sorry backside out of bed for a run soon - have lost two pounds since Thursday so feeling very positive.

That's 2 down, 17 to go! Healthy brekkie and then out to pound the pavement!

Morning girls, feeling very virtuous up early to go for a run & then yoga!

Minds you there was wine & ie cream this weekend so I'm not exactly an angel!

What do ye girls think about excercising on the 2ww. I'm half way through mine & a bit worried about all the jiggling around in there! Been doing a bit I Internet research & lots of different opinions although it does seem power and bikram yoga is out. Any thought?

Back from my run/walk and feeling equally virtuous, Next. I wouldn't worry too much about exercising on the 2ww. I think the stress-busting and all round wellbeing benefits would greatly outweigh any negatives. Don't go too crazy on the yoga but definitely keep the exercise going.

Now to make healthy menu plans for the week and go food shopping - DH's first day at new job tomorrow. I'm losing my chef/housekeeper!!

I agree that exercise is in fact really good for ttc - even during the 2ww and would be uninclined to stop.

well done lsl. I did 6.21km today and happy out with that. I've done 87.5km since the start of April now. Quite proud of that. I did eat bread today though - which i shouldn't be doing....ooops!.....as long as it's just a one off.

Morning all - my two pounds seem to have creeped back on, despite best efforts :o(

So am out for a lunchtime run/walk today, despite the cold. Here's hoping it stays dry though...

Well those two pounds have disappeared again, thank god! Was beginning to worry!

Am still a biscuit free zone and have been so good. Weekend beckons though - thinking of getting the M&S meal deal which can be lethal. Maybe I'll just let DH eat all the dessert...

Hope everyone else is doing well. I don't think I'll hit my goal of 10lbs by the bank holiday. maybe 7 if I try really hard??

I have another 2lbs off this week. I am definitely not making my goal of 21lbs for the 16th May. Looks like I won't get on that list for IVF :o(

Well - so so proud of myself today.
I ran 9.2kms earlier. Didn't even walk a single bit.
AND - I kept my pace under the 7 mins (only just).
Burned over 700 calories.

Absolutely delighted with myself.
Better be skinny tomorrow morning..........
