Hi All

I joined WOL a couple of years ago when OH and I first got engaged but just over a year ago we had a bit of a rough patch and then my mother passed away quite suddenly so neither of us was in the right place to get involved in wedding planning. Things went on hold for a while but we got re-engaged officially in August and are now in a much better place and looking forward to our wedding next year. OH has been amazing this last year and I can't wait to become his wife. I've been a bit of a lurker for the last year, even when we weren't planning our wedding I was always popping in for a look around and a chuckle so I feel like I know all of you. Thanks for the laughs ladies, and for all of the help you are sure to give me over the next year :thnk

Ok,

Relatively new Wolly and I am only reading posts and posting regularly in recent weeks (due to the fact I now have internet access all the time!)

So I have some questions - abbreviations. There are just some of them I can't figure out and generally I am good at them!

OP?
NP?
OH?
DH?

What the hell does ilk mean also?

I felt my intelligence diminishing as I read through old posts and had to skip over sections or try to imagine what the abbreviations meant!

Please share and if there are some I have forgotten please include! I surely can't be the only one that doesn't know the meaning?!!!! :eek

Definitely stay away from TTC for the moment then! I bravely ventured in there for a bit of sight seeing but when i strated readin about EWCM and the likes, I backed out of there pronto!!! I am so not prepared for that yet :eek
