eefc..you look amazing! None of ye look like what you weigh...

Siobhan..I'd say you are not far off your goal now are you? 12.5 stone is probably perfect for someone who is nearly 6ft. I am 5'9 and they have given me target of 11 stone 4 which i dont think ill ever acheive.

this is the weight that I was when I started last august so six months will make a huge difference. Never thought that I would see under 13stone again...

Eh I think by weight watchers I should be between 12 - 12.3 lbs or something like that but that's not what I am going by. If I got to 11 stone 7 lbs I would be far happier and probably at a better ideal weight that I could maintain. I would love to get to 11 stone before the wedding but its not realistic. I have 19 weeks i think so if I lost an average of 1lbs for week I would be at about target I guess.

You seem to have piles of motivation siobhan! you'll do it. Now if you could lend ME some motivation that would be great. I am on day 3 of being back on WW, finding it fine and back doing spinning classes at lunch but the weekend will be a telling story.

Oh its all an illusion and I am not just saying that. I lose weight of my face first always but the rest of me seems to slow down. I need to get rid of the bellies and wings and I will be much happier in myself. I would be pretty happy at 14st for the wedding - anything else is a bonus. Its after slowing down so much though as you know that can get a little disheartening. 35 weeks or so to my wedding- kinda want to start maintaining from Sept onwards though- don't want to be making it harder for alterations etc....

Edited to say that I do my own hair colour for the past 2 years- 8.99 casting creme plum- cant beat it!! ;o)

Morning ladies!

Well i am all rested and ready to see if the knee is healing ok and am off to the gym this evening. Nearly a full week of rest, swelling gone and no pain- should be ok I think!

On a good note- I tried on 3 different pairs of jeans/trousers over the weekend (bear in mind that I am AF at the mo) that are all a size smaller....

Skinny Jeans- my ultimate skinny jeans that make me feel amazing- size 16- FIT!! And loose!! WOOHOO :o)ll :o)ll
Boyfriend jeans from Next that I actually was obsessed with - FIT and much looser on thighs!!!!
Work trousers I picked up in tescos for €4 purely because they were €4, about 3 years ago - FIT and I am wearing them right now!!!

I am so delighted!

Massive boost to keep going!!

On a bad note..... my urges overcame me and I gave in to meanies and malteasers over the weekend :-8 PMS cravings were so bad H2B got them for me to purely shut me up moaning!!

I have no doubt I will be up a pound or two on Wed but to be honest I really don't mind- I have my super motivated frame of mind back- and I can't wait to get to stuck into the gym now for the next 6 weeks before I get measured for my dress!

Forcasting 1-2 pound loss per week for the next 6 weeks - should give me a 6-8 pound loss which will bring me up to nearly 2 stone.... I CAN DO THIS!

Oh don't be disheartened skybusgirl -results may not show for 7 days or more..... Massive tip for you when you are starting off- only get weighed on your weigh in day until you are in the swing of things.

A sneaky weigh in every now and then is ok, but let your body adjust to the new diet first before you start to panic :action32

Drink plenty of water too- first couple of weeks will mainly be fluid loss and it will set you off on your weight loss journey!

Chin up :) It does get easier :)

Well ladies,

Gym went well last night- infact I felt Flip amazing!! Arrived in to the gym and was greeted by owners and 2 staff you ooohhh and ahhhhed at me saying I looked great and the weight loss really shows! Was morto!! :-8

Knee held out pretty well which i am happy about but need to get a proper support for it and wear it when lifting weights and kettlebells.

Introducing protein shake this week on advice from gym- it might help me pick up loss momentum again.

Hope all is well with everyone! :o)ll

Well done eefc! It's great to get the compliments!! What's the advice regarding protein shakes? Are they a supplement for energy or a meal replacement or wha'? I always see them in the gym but half afraid to look at them coz I can just picture bit muscly steroid infused men are the only ones who drink them :yelrotflmaosmilie:

Well I feel massive ...can't remember if I updated the thread yesterday BUT I had a bit of a mad weekend. Went to Eddie Rockets for my dinner on Friday evening then to a show in the O2 where I had 4 dirty big pints of beer.My niece stayed with me that night so we went for brekkie on Saturday morning and I had a big fry up! Then I was working from 2-9 so by the time I got home I was starved so got....A CHINESE!!! Argh :o0

More of the same on Sunday...got up and had a decent enough brekkie of scrambled egg and bacon but was working again from 2-9 so didn't get to eat anything else. Managed to resist the chipper on the way home but had a big ham roll then. Was so exhausted yesterday after working all weekend that I couldn't bring myself to go to the gym. So haven't seen the inside of the gym since last Thursday morning! Sooooo bold!!!

BUT I think the only saving grace is that I was so busy in work (catering events) and doing so much running around that I didn't have time to pick and probably burned some calories with all the running around. I stood on the scales for the laugh on Sunday evening and I was 5lbs heavier than Friday! But it was bloatyness...had another sneaky weigh in this morning and I'm 2lb up still but better than I was! Hopefully with eating healthy yesterday and the rest of the week and getting back into the gym I'll be back to what I was for my Thursday weigh....just in time for another blow out this weekend :weep

It's mad what we do to ourselves ladies!!!

I was the same until PT in my place (she is actually amazing, I want to put her in my pocket and bring her home!!) suggested that I am creating muscle now and will find it harder to burn fat so she has suggested using the protein shake as a meal replacement for breakfast (I work out in the evenings mostly) as I will still be burning cals from previous nights work out. I am going to purchase this evening so will get all the info and get back to you tomorrow.

Gym and kettlebells tonight - I am 3 pounds away from a new stone bracket so I am more determined than ever to get that!! Promised myself once I am over 20 pounds I am getting my nails done..... so close!! :o)ll :o)ll
