How are you now StylishB....I don't know anything about cipramil but I was on lexapro and it took a good 6 weeks before I felt improved. I also suffered with anxiety...hope things have improved for you...i also did CBT counselling and found it brilliant for my anxiety

thanks zowie and gingham for the posts, was at doc again last week wit ds and told her how i was feeling. She gav me two weeks off which has been a break but work want me to see he company doc. Anyone any experience, what will they ask?

well i"m sure having the 2 weeks off is good for you but I'm suprised he/she didnt prescribe you with a mild anti depressant or at least recommend that you chat to a councellor. What do they think is going to happen after 2 weeks? is everything supposed to be magically better?
I was very lucky on the day I went to doc - I was seen by a lady who wasnt even my own GP but I guess because she was a woman she totally got it. She told me she had small kids herself and knows how hard it can be etc etc. To be honest I was blubbing my eyes out when I was telling her how I felt so she saw how bad I actually was. The only thing she asked me that took my by suprise was did I feel like I was going to hurt myself or the kids or did I feel suicidal (I suppose they have to ask with suicide being so topical lately). I emphatically told her no, I was just highly emotional all the time and didnt feel like I was coping etc.
Dont be afraid to be completely honest with the company GP and remember that anything you tell them is confidential..
