Hi ladies,

I just popped in to see how people were doing and wanted to answer some of your questions as I was in your boat not so long ago and thankfully I can say that I am over 4 months pregant which happened on my 2nd IUI in CFC.

Slanket, regarding scans, once I started on the injections from day 10 i think it was i had my first scan and it was every 2/3 days after that depending on how my follicles were doing.

Broodymissues, the side effects I had with the injections was severe tiredness for the first week of taking them and also mood swings which I couldnt control!!!!

Hi ladies, can I join you? I starting iui next cycle if I don't get a bfp this cycle. Only cd6 today so another few weeks to go. We've been ttc no2 for almost a year. (we had no issues on ds, so this was a bit of a shock!!) This is my 5th month on clomid as I wasn't ov'ing naturally. I have a few questions if anyone can help. I was talking to the nurse at the clinic this morning, she said that if all went well with my consultation and preperiod scan that I would start injectables (perugon pen..sp?) from cd2-6. I would have another scan on cd7 and than cd9 dh would give his sample and I'd go back in later that day for iui. Does this timeline seem right? I know if may depend on the size of follicles?

On clomid I don't ov til day 18/19 of a 29 day cycle - would this have any impact on the iui timing or is it completely different due to different drugs

Hi Ababyslove, thanks for that. They hardly tell you anything about the drugs. They practically brushed us off when we asked about that.

We have to wait now until next month for a few reasons, so annoying as I had just psyched myself up. Anyway, one more month won't kill me at this stage O:| !!!

Well, just a little update. Delighted to say I got a BFP this weekend - cannot believe this as we planned to start IUI this month except didn't think that DH would be around for the important week.

It is all very early and just hope that this little bean doesn't go anywhere. Sending :babydust: by the bucketful to everyone here xxx

As for me, I have my pre iui scan tomorrow, no sign of af yet but I'm getting all the usual signs so I'm sure it's just round the corner. If I have no cysts I'll be starting injections on cd2. It's not actually a great time for me to be doing it as my mam is in hospital at the moment but I'm hoping the fact that my mind isn't really on the iui could be a good thing, and to make matters worse my mam is right next to the maternity ward in the hospital so all i'm seeing is bumps and babies when I'm in with her!

congrats broodymissus,
slanket delighted you are getting started, hope your mam gets better soon.

I have a consult with nurse next wednesday in cfc but she advised iui start date hasnt come any closer, still looking at august. But as she had a cancellation thought it best to have this consult done .

Anyone know what this consult is?
I have already had bloodworks, consult with dr W, dh has had his sa's done, have had my internal and the hsg done.

Waiting.... :( on IUI Now expected to start Aug. 2012...
