Motivation thread for losing weight...

Eefc - Maybe give the PT sessions one more go but if she makes you feel umcomfortable then I'd definitely have a word with the manager. She may think she's being really helpful and that tough-love method works with some people. I did spinning for a while but had to stop coz the instructor just wouldn't let you rest for the entire class. If you even attempted to slow down to catch your breath she'd screech at you. I just gave up coz some others found it motivation but I just found it humiliating!!

Oh I'm stiff this morning!! Did an hour aerobics on the wii on Tuesday night (My Fitness Coach) and the 30 mins of that yesterday morning, followed by an hour walk on the beach last night. Up at 6.45 this morning and did a 6km run/walk on the beach, then home for 15 mins of weights (trying to focus on bingo wings and back fat this week). :o0

Looking forward to a rest tonight!! Although have to go for my weigh in which I'm not looking forward to!!! I know I've done well not to put on any weight with all the going out over the last few weeks but I just HATE not seeing that weight decrease...if I'm a pound or less up, I'll be happy enough!

What is everyone up to? I am back on the health kick this week. four weeks to alterations and need to move my ass - literally!!

As my ticker says I am still stuck on 27. I can't move it. I am midway through my PT course in the gym- going well but gaining muscle fat so not really what I want.

Last night they said as the weight isn't shifting quick enough they will be mainly focusing on cardio for me and have put me on a kind of a soup and protein diet. We'll see how that goes.

H2B is still a skinny minny- even after his surgery. Fcker.

But I am still plugging on- eating wise I haven't been overly good up until Sunday so back on track now. Am starved if I am honest but its the no carbs thats making me feel like that!

eefc please dont do a soup and proten diet or cut carbs out completely! It's really not good for you - you cant maintain weight loss like that.

You've lost an amazing amount already and I would embrace that by changing your exercise programme and toning up. Concentrate on that rather than the lbs!

Don't worry- still having me porridge in the morning!! Just having soup for lunch and dinner and then have some meat and veg.

More so cutting out bread and poppies- my two fav things in life!

Have another 2 stone to lose (only want to lose anther stone before wedding. Only. Like I am so close to it. Not.) if not more and the gym remind me everyday. Grrrr.

I know how you feel. To be honest, since things got bad at home in March I have no motivation and have just steadily been putting on weight.

Now, I am back to it though. Going home soon to go for a run! You will lose it. No fear of you. :wv

Been for a 5k run each evening this week. So I reckon that's about 350kcals burned each time so it adds up when multiplied by five.

Not going to get too obsessed with the scales for a week or two until I'm back in rhythm.

How are all your girls getting on?!

Back on track ladies- by simply cutting out the crap I have lost 4 pounds since Sunday. Pretty proud of myself! Back to where I was now- hopefully I will be able to move my ticker soon!!

Off the booze now again until August and back taking the Tonalin CLA again.

Roll on weight loss or should I say, roll off the next stone!!

Conjugated linoleic acid - Tonalin is the brand- it has the highest concentrated dose. Its a lean muscle stimulator. It helps reduce abdominal fat the most. You can get it in health food stores. Bit on the pricy side though. It helps shift the last 10lbs or so that are stubborn. Not advised for massive weight loss.

To be honest I do. It is expensive though- its around €35 or so for a "months" supply. Thats if you take one a day. I took 3 a day (as per recommended dose) and the bottle doesn't last that long. If you are put off by big tablets then you haven't a hope - these are like bullets!!

It can make you quesy for first couple of days, but it passes. I found it very beneficial for my stubburn belly area- ladies who have had babies call it their baby bag.... I have no babies and have one of these! If you only have another 10lbs or so to lose and you are really finding it hard even with exercise, its great.

Just to note though, it only works in conjunction with healthy diet and exercise. Its not a quick fix tablet by any means! Just helps you along when you get to a point where nothing is happening or aiding you while you are doing a lot of exercise.
