I got lots done yesterday - three loads of washing out on the line (they are still there, I forgot to take them in!) and hoovered and washed the kitchen/dining room. Also sorted out my wardrobe by throwing out half the stuff in it!Hoping to get loads more done when I'm off (hopefully) on Friday...

Oh LastRolo don't mention wardrobes. My wardrobe looks like a clothes bomb exploded. I haven't felt up to doing anything in the last two weeks and the house is a mess! There is a build up of dust everywhere! I have a huge pile of clothes waiting to be put away but I need to clear out the disaster zone that is my wardrobe. SIGH ... DD is off school until next Wednesday - I don't know when I'll get the chance to do it. :-8

Well I've had to clear out the wardrobe because I went shopping last Friday evening and bought a load of things in Penneys and Dunnes. They are all sitting in the bags now in the bedroom as there is no room for them in the wardrobe!

Fair play to ya for clearing out the Wardrobe....that's one of the jobs on my list for this week!
I've been quite good all week...the washing basket is empty, the ironing pile in finished, got up on Monday & the sun was trying to glare in at me through the manky windows so I got out & washed them and scrubbed the car while I was at it! And the downstairs toilet got a lick too so all in all a very productive week!!
I want to get the en-suite, the fridge and the wardrobe done before we head off on hols though on Friday! (Could be wishful thinking though :innocent: )

I am planning to get a lot of housework done Friday when I am off. Hoping to get the hallfloor washed and hoovered and the bedroom washed and hovered and the en suite scrubbed and the windows washed. Gonna mark out for where we are going to put our patio so that we have somewhere to put a table and chairs and bbq for the summer. Maybe even get the ironing done and get clothes and stuff organised for our hols.

Girls.....

I've FINALLY got to the bottom of the laundry basket.

This glorious weather has meant that my poor washing machine has been literally been flat out over the last three days! I've put on 12 (yes TWELVE) loads!! 11 of them are dried (outside, oh yes!) and sitting in the utility room ready to be put away or put in the ironing basket which is going to be tackled Monday HELL OR HIGH WATER!!

I've my kitchen almost sorted and I'm going to tackle our hall and bedroom & ensuite once I finish my cup of coffee and toastie sambo!

Its a great feeling being on top of the washing again - I've made a vow to never let it get as bad again. I will feel better once I have the ironing done.

So - off I go now to hoover and wash my wooden floor in the entrance hall (its a bungalow - so as you can imagine Its really long!!)

Will report bacK!!

HI Ladies,

I am back with a bang, stepford wollie of the year! :o0
Over the weekend i cleaned the bathrooms, hovered, sorted out my wardrobe and got rid of 3 bags of clothes, sorted out the spareroom wadrobe and in the middle of my supply of toiletries i found a brand new foundation, well to say i was happy is an understatement :o)ll . I got rid of loads of crap and then went and bought flowers for the hall, kitchen and sitting room ( well the last came from in the in laws which was lovely ). I bought some picture frames and put some lovely ones up.

How is everyone else getting on?

Girls - disaster O:|

We've been having a lot of work done to our house of late - which means lots of muck but because of the dry weather that means lots of DUST.
I was helping with a lot so that meant the household duties were neglected and now that I'm trying to get clothes together for our holidays I've had to neglect them totally and the house is BOGGING. I need to get it shining before I go because I'll not want to come home if I know I'm coming home to a dirty house.

Ah.......help!

My house is grand at the moment, tonight ill go around a give the bathrooms a wipe but other than that i look like a right stepford wollie i have my flowers in the hall and kitchen and have most of my outside plants potted and some lovely inside ones too.

There is just one thing missing..... my box room is a mess :-8 but i have shut the door on that one for now :o0
