are you short sunny k? i wouldnt be watching the scales unless you're 4" nothing. muscle IS heavier.
i need to get my exercise on too, but i just haven't been able to get off my arse. ive been talking about doing sit ups and arm toning for so long, im getting rolled eyes and laughs when i bring it up now. starting zumba next week tho, so maybe that will motivate me to do the other bits at home. i HOPE. 3 months left. its time to walk the walk!

Seedee I had been talking the talk for MONTHS - literally months of everyone hearing how I was gonna do Bikram yoga, then I was gonna do C25K, then I was gonna do walks 5 nights a week - then the Ben Dunne gyms had the really cheap offer and I said right that's it, just bloody do it!!

I have gone from an 8 to a 10 in the past few months...now I'm not disgusted at being a 10 by any means and don't mind staying that size but I'd like to be more toned cos there is ZERO muscle on me. I'm only about 5ft 2 or 3 so am small enough....but I compensate by wearing heels aaaallllll of the time! Like I say I'm not gonna get hysterical over the actual weight on the scales but want to up my fitness and tone up.

I'm the same with my arms - my problem areas are my tummy and my bingo wings. My biceps are grand but the triceps ... :action34 I do about 20 mins of floor work for my legs, sit ups and a few press ups but will need to get the tricep curl machine going now too if I want to sort these bad boys out :o0

id be pretty much the same, only 5'5" and about 9st 5lb maybe. i did diet kinda, cos i thought i wanted to be under 9 stone, but the closer i got to it, the more i got told not to lose any more weight. think it made me look a little gaunt in the face, and ageing, rather than lovely and slim, so its exercise i need to get at. which is a shame, cos im a lazy arse, and i would probably find it easier to just shed a couple of pounds.

love handles and bingo wings be gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

did it work yet?? :o0

Woop :o)ll down another pound this morning, delighted with myself. Again just reduced portions this week and haven't upped the exercise yet :-8 Going to do some Zumba tonight & have been to the local gym, just need to join up and get into the routine of going.

I love it seedee but I've been doing it at home on the playstation instead of paying for the classes. The playstation does 20 minute sessions and sets out a plan for you. I started going to the classes during the summer & I never sweated so much :-8 It took me a few classes to get used to it but I realy enjoyed it. Give it a try and don't be at all self conscious, everyone starts somewhere and we spent the whole first class in stitches laughing at ourselves :o0

Can anyone recommend a good weight loss app? One that is more based on food intake, rather than exercise?

Thanks!

Excellent Sawyer! Well done!

I'll weigh at the gym this evening. I can kinda feel in the work trousers I'm in today that they aren't as bet into my love handles as they usually are so I'm a bit less bloated etc anyway - working up to 4 days in the gym this week too so will try manage that much most weeks.

How's anyone else getting on?

Hey girls, I'm joining the thread. I've been avoiding for too long now. Going to weigh myself in the morning. I can safely say I'm the heaviest on this thread though. I had a look at the primal blueprint site. Found it very interesting Think I'll give it a go.
I found this along the way also and it seems to support the concept of the primal blueprint.
