We love any wedding where you can see and feel the personality of individuals shine through. And that doesn't just go for the bride and groom! Sometimes dressing your bridesmaids feels like more hassle than it's worth; if they don't like the colour of the dress, they don't like the style, or if in fact you just can't get them to even look at one to choose! That's why mismatching bridesmaids is such a welcome trend in the wedding world -anything that hacks off a little bit of stress is, in our opinion, a good thing.

Now, you may get a bit panicky about letting your bridesmaids loose and them turning up in a purple PVC bustier and skirt (if that's not the look you're going for of course) but the trick is too give them a bit of guidance, whether that be through pictures, swatches, or by leaving recordings of your voice saying 'below the knee, below the knee' over and over under their pillow (maybe don't try that last one).

Decide on whether you want to go: casual, semi-casual, or dressy. Pick a colour scheme: nudes, pastels, or strong vibrant colours, browns and creams, navies and yellows. See below for a few of our ideas.

  • Oregon Designer: Elizabeth Dye

Wednesday 21 April 2022 - Fashion - Tags: hair, hairpiece, cream, dress

This week I came across designer Elizabeth Dye from Portland, Oregon. She owns a store call The English Dept where she carries leading bridal designers and her own line of gowns. The below images are from her very own collection, I love these designs. They are so soft, feminine and stylish...and the best news? You can buy her reasonably priced designs on Etsy! Here is the link. www.etsy.com/shop/englishdept

I love Cymbeline. We are researching '10 trends for the next B Mag...so thought I would give a little sneak peak. You can just tell how well designed this collection is (doesn't hurt the backdrop is Paris...)
