Just when you think you've seen it all you find a book centrepiece...Sometimes the creativity of others is just plain mind blowing! I came across this little gem of a wedding on Green Wedding Shoes.

This week I came across designer Elizabeth Dye from Portland, Oregon. She owns a store call The English Dept where she carries leading bridal designers and her own line of gowns. The below images are from her very own collection, I love these designs. They are so soft, feminine and stylish...and the best news? You can buy her reasonably priced designs on Etsy! Here is the link. www.etsy.com/shop/englishdept
I've had the great pleasure of working with Sharon Griffin from Frog Prince Wedding Days a couple times and I can safely say she is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. She is also an amazingly talented decor and floral designer. She just gets it. She knows how to translate people's ideas into a beautiful reality that far surpasses their expectations, which is probably why she won the WeddingsOnline.ie Award for Decor Supplier of the Year. Here are some of her fresh and elegant bouquets, perfect for a spring wedding!
Just an FYI, Sharon is offering a great competition on her facebook page. If you become a fan you get entered to win €1,000 of venue decor. Wow! Click here to become a fan.
I'm not sure what looks better the stunning dress and head piece the bride is wearing or the adorable bow tie the groom is sporting. I can't think of a better way to start the week. Some people have all the style! Photographed by Sloan Photographers.
Leisel’sheadpiece and Sterlings boutonniere were made by Jenn Wood. Check out even more from this session on the Sloan Photographers blog. Thanks so much Angie + Matt for letting me share your gorgeous photos today!
These bouquets are each unique and interesting in their own way. Flowers are one of my favourite parts of any wedding, but sometimes I think people treat them like an after thought. It's true , that if the flowers are average people don't always notice them, but if they are truely specticular people don't forget!

This wedding photographed by James Christianson is stunning. The colours are unbelievable!
I love this Irish inspired shoot from Style Me Pretty.

It's my job to know whats going on in the wedding world. It's my job to sift through the wedding blogs daily, to know the trends and know what photographers are on the 'it list'...and if you were to ask ...its my favourite part of the job. I love seeing how much talent is out there. And just when I thought I'd seen it all, I find someone totally new and totally amazing, like today. I came across Jill Thomas, who is responsible for these stunning wedding photos. Of course it doesn't hurt that the bride is beautiful and stylish. Oh and...her mother made her dress...yea...

This wedding will be making an appearance in the summer issue of B Magazine, but I was way too excited to wait that long, so this is sneak peak! The detail and thought that went into creating the vintage/rustic theme is perfect. The bride Kate flawlessly brought together the dress, flowers, headband, photos and even the car! The photographer was Darren Purcell who really captured the feel and tone the bride wanted. It just goes to show that having an overall vision for a wedding and making sure every supplier is on board makes a world of difference. Thank you Darren from Visionary Photography for sending it in. The reception was held at Kilshane House in Tipperary.
As you probably already know, WOL celebrated it's 10th birthday on Monday night at the Crowne Plaza in Santry and the WeddingsOnline.ie Awards were part of the big bash. It was a fabulous evening to bring all the elite in the wedding industry together under one roof, with everyone dressed to really impress! Here are some highlights.
Table 18 were the big winners of the evening. Everyone at their table won in their category. Including White Orchid who won Best Overall Wedding Supplier! Others in this picture; Love Letters, Frog Prince Wedding Days and French Touch Florist.

This is a great example of the 'pink splash' or a tasteful dotting of pink with rather neautral colours. I think it makes things a bit more exciting, without going overboard. It still manages to come across warm and welcoming. I found this on the very talented photographer, Jessica Claire's blog. Flowers by Kate Holt from Flower Wild.
Any type of decoration that is adorable AND edible is a definite winner. Amy Atlas is one of the industry's premier dessert stylists (yes thats a real thing) and its easy to see why from this Valentine's display. The only issue I can see is that you would think the food was too cute to eat...but I am sure you could get over it.

This pink combination would be perfect for a summer beach wedding (pretend for a second that your wedding is somewhere warm...so not in Ireland). The peach accents really tie is altogether in a way that is light and fresh. I have an eternal love affair with peonies (the flowers) which were out of season for my October wedding, I contemplated waiting till they were in season to get married but h2b said the floral arrangements are no reason to postpone the biggest day of your life. But if you are lucky enough to have them in season for your big day, I hope you have sense enough to use them at least somewhere! Just kidding....but seriously you should.
I absolutely love everything about this photo shoot from Style Me Pretty. It perfectly marries pinks, reds, yellows, orange and black, which could clash , but don't...at all. It works flawlessly.

Because Valentines Day is a mere six days away I thought we should all celebrate with a week of loves most beautiful colour...pink (because red just doesn't do it for me). Pink is on the up, from its dark past of tacky and brash (ie Jordan's other wedding). It is now the premier colour of all that is fresh and stylish. This combo has a delightful Parisian flavour, so lovely! From the blog Australia Entertains (by the Hostess with the Mostess).
