Spring is all about fresh flowers and pretty pastels -what better colour scheme to evoke for the most romantic day of your life? However some brides don't go for all things girly and pink, so this palette is the perfect choice for those wishing to create dreamy wedding decor with touches of feminine fancies, but at the same time want a more mature, refined style of occasion.
Grey will be your anchor for creating this palette, and you can go from various intensities and shades of grey (have at most three shades, to keep some consistency however) The trick to this is to use accents of pale pinks and greens to brighten up the palette, in flowers, accessories, and with stationery and table decor.

Take a trip back to the Bronze Age and create a metallic bronze and gold leaf palette for your wedding decor.
Metallic provides the perfect amount of glamour and edge to a very classic style, but as with most bold colour, prints, or fabrics, don't overdo it! Treat your metallics like you would animal prints; a little goes a long way. Also, as with animal prints, it's okay to mix two or three colours. Try a palette of gold, silver and bronze (a nod to this year's Olympics, if you are the sporty type?!), using off white or cream as your anchor.

Berry and plum create a delicious wedding palette and we thought, a perfect one for a Hallowe'en wedding with those dark, almost gothic colours. Berries may be primarily in season during summer, but who is to stop you from adapting their deep, sumptuous colours into you wedding scheme. Inkeeping with the berry palette, wine and cheese boards would work perfectly with this theme, along with wine cork accents and rustic wooden furnishings.

The WeddingsOnline girls are in sunny spirits this afternoon (look at that blue sky!) so we thought a little colourful palette would be a nice addition to the today's blog posts! If you are having a pre-wedding shoot with your photographer, colourful balloons are a gorgeous way to add some sparkle to your images, and will give you something to play with if you're feeling a little shy. For your wedding, a rainbow palette is easy to build on as you don't need to make sure you have all the same shades between your bridesmaid dresses, flowers and stationery, so there's less pressure in planning and more fun!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who made the stunning La Vie en Couleur a success. It was fantastic to see the team work so well together and to have such amazing talent pull out the stops to create such beautiful shots! It was a pleasure to be in the company of some of the finest in the business at the gorgeous Summerhill House Hotel (even if Rachel did ruin the shots by letting go of the balloons).
